Since he took over in February, 99 we have played several European teams on their own soil. With Bielsa at the helm, we have done well against European opposition. Results of the matches are as follows:

Holland 1 Argentina 1
England 0 Argentina 0
Spain 0 Argentina 2
Italy 1 Argentina 2
Wales 1 Argentina 1
Germany 0 Argentina 1

Most of you know of Bielsa's record. This should bode well for us as the WC is around the corner and we have been immediately drawn into a group against tough European opposition.

Thats probably why they're 3rd in the fifa world rankings, and the favourite for wc2002.

I think the friendlies show that Bielsa has a more organised and settled squad than the aforementioned teams. However, the one team you've ommited has a more settled squad than us.....France.

we are unbeaten against all the european teams in the Bielsa era, plus we have made at least one goal in the last 21 games....
impressive ha?

we have only lost in the bielsa era to:

Usa
Colombia
Espanyol de barcelona
Brazil(3times)

i don't want to face Brazil in the WC...
