It's always the case that a striker (in this case Forlan) is only as good as whoever it is that's playing behind him dishing him the balls, in this case the rejuvinated Riquelme.
The problem with Forlan is that he's very inconsistant. He misses 9/10 gimmes but scores the impossible one. That drives the fans nuts and this reputation that he's built will hunt him his entire career, I'm afraid.
