We played bad for the first 10 minutes and almost the complete second half, so we deserved to go out. The 2:0 was made after a foul, RC broke Salihamidzics nose, but it all didn't change anything and is for sure no excuse.

We didnt deserve to go through. And if you look at the games against Nantes or Sparta we didnt play very good football in today's CL season. I think we used up all our luck in some very lucky group stages wins. There is no shame in losing against Real but we need to play CL next year. Looks like we have a great squad next season and it would be a complete waste to play in the Loser Cup.

We lost to the better team. Although I am sad that we did not try to exploit that fragile defence enough in the second half. In the first half Santa and Brazzo wasted golden chances to turn around the outcome of this encounter. And though this is no excuse for the loss, I think the second goal was a clear foul on Linke. Though Raul did not intentionally slam Linke, I think as a rule this is considered a clear freekick for Bayern. I felt that subbing Fink for Jeremies was unthought of and Sergio should have been thrown in in the last 5 minutes. To lose 2-0 or 3-0 makes no difference at the end of it. Having said all that, I think there were amazing animilastic dirty fould from Real on Bayern players in the first half, the worst was when RC broke Brazzo's nose and the other when Hierro slid with two feet on Elber near the line. The Spanish spectators that were throwing all kind of objects were ill mannered. Anyway, it is over now and although it is hard to forget so soon, I think we can leave with high heads. I hope we are back in the champions league next year. With Ze Roberto, Ballack, Deisler we will have further creative options than the ones we lacked today.

Gongratulations to the Real fans and hardluck to ours.

Yes Vamp, although it wasn't because of Real's defence but because we didn't even try to attack . We almost created as less chances as Real in the first leg, so no wonder we didn't score...

I think Real will qualify to the final, as I do not see Barcelona doing well thi season at all. They struggle to win and they are not consistent. But games in the UCL are different than those in the la liga. They conform to different prospects and additional motivation. Real have better chances to go all the way but you will never know. As for LEverkusen and MAN U. I think Leverkusen will make it through if their stars stay injury free for the rest of the season. Leverkusen have developed into an exciting team to watch. MAN U are a good team but when Keane is not around they are usually in a mess. Add Beckham to that list and you will see that Giggs, Veron, and Scholes will have a huge burden to carry. Leverkusen have the better chances to qualify. Who will win the UCL? I really cannot predict a team. I've been bad at predicting throughout this season so I am not going to predict this one
