Those 5 words again. Can't you say anything else, Borat? :)
Should be a relatively straightforward tie, but because we're having so much trouble creating clear cut chances to score, we may end up making hard work of this.

I expect the usual line-up, and the usual lack of astute subs.
Really? I predict Giovinco, Amauri and Iaquinta will all play.

Poulsen and Buffon are out of this tie while Legrottaglie is fit again.
Amauri and Iaquinta perhaps, although i'd be surprised if DP is fit and he doesn't start.

Giovinco i highly doubt.
Alex looked like he had a plate of spaghetti too many against Samp, and that as soon as 10 minutes on. He could use a bit of rest. Besides, Iaquinta hasn't had a minute in 2 games if my memory serves me well. It's his moment.

We'll see about Giovinco. BATE's the ideal game for him to shine IMO and we could use a good goal average to qualify.
Its the kind of low level opposition Ranieri will prolly feel comfortable enough to play Gio, but then again, Cagliari was such a case too.

I dont want Iaquinta starting, he was quite unconvincing against Udinese, and doesnt bring much to the table unless you create alot for him (has very little skills). If Ale is fit, he should play.
DP and Nedved have gone 2 years without the CL, if they are even 70% fit, i'm quite sure they will start.
Camoranesi is not 100% fit yet, so after playing the whole game against Sampdoria maybe he'll be rested, so there is a spot left for an attacking player.
Rodionov,Blizniuk could play in a middle italian team,Bate is not so weak as you might expect at home.

The keeper is great.
No, they are worse - i watched 3 of their Cl qualifiers and i'll say they are Serie C level, without a doubt the worst team to ever make the group stages of the CL. They are here thanks to only 2 things - advanced physical preparation in August and sheer luck.
If Camoranesi is rested you can bet that Brazzo will take his place, so in the 80th minute Ranieri can bring in Marchionni for Grygera and move Brazzo to right back.

Fu*cking genius!
No Gigi for this as well? :(

Anyway, anything but a win is unacceptable, if we win this game and hopefully Madrid win vs Zenit then we both should secure qualification.

That win vs Zenit helped us, big time.

Also I'm with Nero about Neddy and DP, though I want to see Gio but still, 2 years without CL footy is big news for Alex and Pavel, they will play if fit.
any formation should be able to rape BATE

any other result but a win is bullshit
Don't forget that it's an away game, and Madrid didn't rape Bate in Spain, + no Trez and Buffon ..
When was the last time the Merengues have set a standard on anything?

Two years without CL? You make it sound like Alex and Nedved haven't played against Zenit. If DP's tired, he must not start the game...

Madrid could've scored 6 or 7 easily from the highlights I saw, they missed a ridiculous amount of chances. You should win very easily even with your B team BATe barely got out of their own half for the two legs against the Bulgarian champions Levski, and Levski are way, way below Juve's level.
So how do people think the team will lineup tomorrow?
Amauri Iaquinta
Giovinco Sissoko Marchisio Camoranesi
De Ceglie Chiellini Legrottaglie Grygera
Manninger

They'll want to play as many of the CL games as possible, particularly Nedved as this may well be his last season.
