Sorry lads, another of my inane questions, but hey, they all help me get a better understanding of my future home!

When in Donstia a few years back, it seems that competing for space hanging off balconies with the 'Euskal Presoak' flags, was another one that read

'Bat, Bi, Hiru, Lau, Bost, Sei, Zazpi, Real'

Now I know it is 1 - 7 Real, but why is that significant?

It´s just a way of cheering for erreala. It has been sung for ages, especially in Atotxa many years ago. You saw that flag in most of Donostia balconies because when Erreala was fighting for the Liga 2 years ago, a local newspaper thought that it could be a good idea to cheer the boys (and BTW to sell more newspapers) .
