Lets face it... The England team isn't that great, is it?

With Barmby's recent form (goal against Leeds :D ) I think he definately deserves a call up from Keegan. Even if he is only a squad player it would still be good.
He'd certainly be more useful than Andy Cole ;)

he has creativity, vision, a decent shot, if keegan doesnt pick him, who else apart from Macmanaman on the left?

can he play on the left???
i think he can only on the right and centre midfield and attack..

there's plenty of competition however.
macca's never been playing so well...then beckham ...

but yeah i would definitely prefer barmby to anderton...and thanks god the latter ruled himself out!

but barmby doesn't really score lots of goals though..

I like that team Makaay and the only change I would make would be K Dyer for Neville. You obviously have a lot of sense :)

oh and by the way Barmby has played on the left forr Everton and has stated that he would rather it out there as it means that he has the oppurtunity to cut in and drive at defenders.
I don't think that he will make the 22 and if he does then isn't it in Evertons policy to sell him. I mean you sold Keown and Hinchcliffe as soon as they got in the England side.
There's a conspiracy I reckon.

Well, the boy done good.

Barmby came on for the last 30mins against Ukraine and, according to Keegan, had an incredible impact on the game.

And he played against Malta. The England team were all **** except for Barmby who was the man of the match.

It looks like Barmby may get some playing time at Euro2000 now! :)

I still hope England lose, though ;)
