England coach Kevin Keegan has given Nick Barmby and Kevin Phillips a chance to
press their Euro 2000 claims in Saturday's friendly against Malta in Valletta.

Sunderland striker Phillips will partner Alan Shearer with Everton midfielder Barmby,
who came on to such good effect against the Ukrainians, is handed the left-hand side
berth.

Dennis Wise, Paul Scholes and David Beckham complete a four-man midfield, and
Gary and Phil Neville fill the full-back berths with Ipswich's Richard Wright in goal.

Shearer, Phillips.

This siude worries me as it looks like the side that he will start with barring a few players, the definate changes will be Seaman for Wright and Owen for Phillips and then who knows. Macca for Barmby? If this is the case then it will mean that he will play on the left hand side again which will mean that he will not be in his best position.
