Both can certainly play at the same time as they did in the second half of each game. They are different type players. With Helguera in there it allows Baraja more freedom to attack. Helguera is a better ballwinner and Baraja is better attacker and transition player. Certainly both can play on the field at the same time.
would you think the Hierro-Nadal partner secure in the elimination games? i still think Helguera best for sweep although that will cover his attack supporting.Balaja is employable on the position.why not ask them 2 on the start?
Well you see if you want to play both at the same time it is possible, but looking at how Camacho is very stuborn when it comes to the Dinosaur Duo (Hierro-Nadal), so it looks like if he would replace anyoen it would be Helguera for Baraja or vise-versa. The good thing about this is that Helguera can be used for sweeper, attacking midfielder or central midfield, where as Baraja seems to be a central midfielder. I haven't been over impressed with Ruben but Helguera has done his job better IMO, plus Baraja has to imporve on his marking and shooting. Where as Helgueras job is distrobution and he has been 90% accurate.
cos he didn't play better than him in the 2nd half..... whole team played better and the reason was changed formation....Spain played more like 3-5-2(with Puyol on the RW and Valeron moving between right and middle)......and if you're looking for tackling and marking specialist better look for Albelda (he's better than Helguera in that specific area)
and yes I'm biased, just like the starter of this topic
I don't think Lestat was being biased, since he did say IMO.
But really, Baraja hasn't been that impressive. I think both should play though, but not in the midfield, because for me, it's simple. Valeron MUST play. So Helguera should replace Nadal in the defence. A Real Madrid defence which isn't that bad at all. Strenghthened by Puyol at the RB.
