Yeah I am not too sure about how many years he has lived in Turkey, but recently there have been a new rule about people being able to apply for citizenship due to PR-reasons. It sounds weird I know, but a player called Nobre on Besiktas just got his turkish citizenship and Balili might be able to do the same.

Well here in Israel after about 10 years Giovanni Rosso and Murad Megamedov got their citizenship, it seems that in Turkey it is necessary a bit less.:D

How does one become a turkish citizen?
Make Turkish Coffe and prepare Turkish delights?

He plays in Turkey for some years now, so no surprise on this news.
