ROME, April 12 (Reuters) - Argentina forward Abel Balbo has left AS Roma and is set to sign for Boca Juniors, according to reports.
Italian news agency ANSA said Balbo would sign for Boca on Monday and would make his debut on April 24 in the Libertadores Cup. Roma were unavailable for comment.
Balbo, 35, has been in Italy for 12 years after signing for Udinese from River Plate in 1990. After four seasons with Udinese he joined Roma where he scored 74 goals.
He then left Roma and played for Parma and Fiorentina before returning to the capital two seasons ago. Balbo has scored 11 goals in 36 games for Argentina.
