Italian giants Fiorentina have entered the race to sign Roberto Baggio from Inter Milan.
The Viola outfit are in much-need of added firepower up front following the departure of fans' favourite Gabriel Batistuta to AS Roma.
Fiorentina's president revealed he is in the chase for Baggio.
Vittorio Cecchi Gori said: "I'm thinking about something special to present to the supporters. Baggio is a flag for the club and a great friend. There are many teams that want him, but we will see what we can do."

With all the speculation about his possible arrival in England I really do hope his plans are to stay with an Italian club..
'It is still unfortunate that his place at INTER could not be accepted///Because he really proved what he could do when he entered the game..
At least I would still like to see him play with another SerieA club..

Hmmm, as great as the bring back Baggio theory would be I really think he wouldn't accept being our super sub. He is getting old and wants to play regularly.
