Thank God Diniev is leaving but who will replace him?Who would do you think have a realistical chance?
Yeah, but I also think those two aren't better coaches than Agasalim Mirjavadov. For example, look at Latvia in Euro 04, they had a Latvian coach Starkovs or Turkey in WC 02 they had a Turkish coach Gunes. Plus the foreigners are gonna come here for a 6 month contract worth 1million, maybe get us a few draws and then bounce.Quidam said:Head coach of Kazakhstan is Dutch Arno Pijpers and head coach of Armenia was Scot Ian Porterfield. Needless to say that while these two probably weren't the best coaches in the world but they still beat Shahin Diniyev by a mile.
We couldnt afford any of those coaches, and they would never take the job unless we offer what Abramovic pays Hiddink I think $1 mil a month salary. The type of Dutch coach we can afford would be a Arno Pijpers or Henk Wisman (who couldnt do anything with Armenia)who arent better than Agasalim and the best they can do is have us play like Kazakhstan.Xtreminal said:Azerkid,Torres never was a coach until he took us..Look at dutch coaches one in Russia, other ones in Poland and etc...Our coaches can't compete with their high technique
I think Hiddink makes 2 million Euros annually. Not much if you ask me. Georgians pay Topmoller 2 million dollars too.Azerkid said:We couldnt afford any of those coaches, and they would never take the job unless we offer what Abramovic pays Hiddink I think $1 mil a month salary. Hiddink gets his official salary from the National Academy of Soccer sponsored by Roman Abramovich. The Dutchman earns 2 million euro (USD 2.78 million) for a month.Quidam said:I think Hiddink makes 2 million Euros annually. Not much if you ask me. Georgians pay Topmoller 2 million dollars too.
I have an idea - we have to cut players salaries and pay for foreign coach from their pockets! They make too much money anyway
did you read an article on Azerisport before the Portugal game? According to portugese journalists when they've heard how much our players make they concluded that it's as much as salaries at top Portugese clubs like Sporting Lisbon.
Shame to see our players do not play like they get paid:thmbdown:Quidam said:did you read an article on Azerisport before the Portugal game? You're right. It's a known fact that Soviet style coaches suck for the most part and the players never give it their all for them.Quidam said:Guys, simple fact - look at our competitors in the face of Kazakhstan and Armenia.
There is no freaking way these two teams are better than us in terms of talent and skill, but they had a one very slight but very important advantage:
Head coach of Kazakhstan is Dutch Arno Pijpers and head coach of Armenia was Scot Ian Porterfield. Needless to say that while these two probably weren't the best coaches in the world but they still beat Shahin Diniyev by a mile.
and to be honest, I strongly object the idea of inviting a domestic coach. We've been through that already. Most of our coaches are the product of the old soviet system, and that system never produced anything of a quality in terms of coaching. The only notable name in Soviet system was Valery Lobanovsky and that's it. Plus it was back in 70s-80s and we are talking about today.
