Its about time the Reffs. have started to crack down on the rules of the game. For years it has been the decision of FIFA and the USSF to allow players to go unabated because people come to a match and pay to see the players and not the Refs. After there meeting before this comming season to call and repremand those fouls that were deemed Vicious by the rules of the game with yellow Cards and/or dissmisles. Last night Chicago played the Metros where Ramos went into a Tackle with cleats up in vicious tackle, It was good to see him get his proper punishment, A red Card. This match was mared by 9 yellow cards and one red. Hopefully the players will take heed of this new institution and play the game the way it was ment to.

There have been quite a few red cards already this season. Be interested to see how many compared to this time last year.

Im hoping that this is not a short term thing. It wuld be a sad to see the refs give in a little as the season goes on. This action will have to cut down on the number of bad tackles that lead to players being injured. Especially now before the World cup. How many countries have last star players to injuries from bad tackles. The US will have a hard enough time as it is without loseing a Mathis or Donnavan.
