on www.one.co.il, there was a post that Atletico madrid are intrested in Idan tal and might have talks & negotiation with him maybe, if they like him. As you know, Athletico Madrid had a nice vacation in 2nd Division @ La Liga and are newley promoted to the La Liga after finishing 1st, and ofcourse, whenever a team gets promoted they like to move/buy/referbish/renovate there team, so hopefully one of the major moves Atletico does is buy Idan Tal from Everton!!!

And let the numbers climb people!!! This is now, not 1, not 2, but 4!!!!!! 4 ISRAELIS!! 4 PLAYERS!!!! 4 POTENTIAL ISRAELI STARS WHO ARE HEADING (3 for sure and 1 maybe) too spain!!! Can u imagine or even keep up with 4 players in which 3 are in the same team playing the greats of Real Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Celta De Vigo, Real Valavoid, and Alvaes????

Yes they are interested in him but will start negotiations only if and when Tal's application for a french passport would be accepted since then he'd become an EU player and won't be considered a foreigner :)

Remembering that Idan Tal already played for a short while in Spain for Mérida 2 or 3 seasons ago.

Will he return to Spain?

If the talks are good than hopefully Idan Will sign, if not than there is no point.

maybe the new coach still wants him to stay. He might offer him a better contract. Maybe so, he would not let him go until the 1st few exhibition games just to see how he plays. Than he can move to Spain.

So i think Idan is well known in Spain and can be the right mixture to Atl. Madrid's team!

Why does he need a french passport? this is spain?
He already has some sort of permit and probably the team will supply him! :)

Kappa, if you were aware of what's going on in world football. You would've known that players with EU passports are not considered foreigners in other EU countries (that whole Bosman ruling), which means that if Idan gets the French passport he will not be considered a foreigner in Spain, which means that he doesn't take the spot of a foreigner.

Berko, Idan Tal does not have a French background, however his wife is of a French decent and has a French citizenship (or passport).
