Asprilla retired from international football after being omitted from Colombia'S squad for the March 28 World Cup qualifying match against Brazil.

I really don't think it's a big loss. IMHO he was always an overrated player who couldn't make it either at Newcastle or Parma. He's a dirty player and a selfish player according to the Colombians I know and he won't be missed.

el tino is having the worse time in his career with club PALMEIRAS....not even full 90 mints. per game.

other players out: el pibe(MLS) and V. aristizabal(santos), selfexclusion from the large pool of players listed by the new coach as 'elegibles'
