We go into Tuesday's winner takes all match fresh from 2 wins superb win this week, inflicting Rubin Kazan's first ever home defeat at their new stadium 0-1 and destroying Russia's 3rd best team Krasnodar 4-0.

We have won 7 out of our last 11 Champions League matches, wins against the likes of AC Milan, FC Porto, Borrussia Dortmund and Benfica. Only a win will guarantee qualification to the next round.

The teams met at the Petrvosky and in a fairly uneventful match, it finished 0-0.

Teams news for Zenit - Shatov and Criscito were both on the Bench for yesterday's win and will surely both come back into the team, question mark wether Javi Garcia is fit enough, he came on for a brief appearance yesterday, strangely Tymoshuck the veteran has played really well in his 2 recent starts, we have won both, been the best team by a mile and restricted to opposition to limited chances, Garcia should start but Tymo will feel unlucky to be dropped as he rolled back the years with his recent performances.

Most probably line up

Lodygin
Criscito
Lombaerts
Garay
Smolynkov
Witsel
Shatov
Hulk
Garcia
Danny
Rondon

Possible other options, Tymo instead of Garcia, Fayzulin instead of Shatov or instead of Garcia. I don't really see any other line up. All the other players other than Shatov and Garcia are guaranteed to start if fit. Hulk plays a million times better with Smolynkov on the same flank instead of Anyukov and of course Smolynkov is a brilliant attacking full back.

Rondon hasn't scored recently but his scoring record of 14 goals in 25 matches is still good, he was very unlucky with his header yesterday.

Danny yesterday resembled the Danny we have had from the last 6 years and not the Danny of the last 2 months. Giving him a couple of games out of the team seems to have given him form back. For me he has only had 2 poor spells of form with Zenit in his 6 years - The last 2 months and the beginning of the 2013 year.

Let's do this Zenit!

Our last match in Monaco? Well it was almost like a home match with our fans outnumbering Manchester United fans massively in the principality. We were buying their tickets off them!

August 2008 - The debut of our 25 Million Pound new signing Danny!

We played and beat Manchester United 2-1 to win the European Super Cup. The winning goal was an amazing debut goal from Danny.

Enjoy!

Any Monaco team news?

Carvalho suspended I know.

I still remember when Zenit bought Neto, nobody knew anything about him other than Kleber who told us he was the next Ricardo Carvalho.

How can Kleber be so wrong about so many things?

Kurzawa will likely miss out with a hamstrung problem.

Kleber doesn't think we will win, here was his attack as soon as Zenit thrashed Benfica for the 2nd time, hell Benfica couldn't even score 1 goal against us in 2 matches! Looks like he didn't take kindly to being told how good of a record AVB has against Benfica.
you have a busy schedule now,4 games in 11 days thanks to capello,lol....

add injuries you have no chance to beat monaco.
kleber :howler:

I can't imagine the beating he must have given his donkey Miguel last night after that loss.

AVB just has Benfica in his back pocket, too. Totally owns them.
big shit.....

you will be eliminated by legia, salzburg, celtic something like that in the el last 32.
Your eliminated already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zenit 1 Benfica 0
Benfica 0 Zenit 2

Loooolssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only first seed ever in CL history to finish bottom of their group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AVB 5 wins in 5 matches against Benfica. Is this the reason Kleber hates him so much?
i don't like zenit.
villas boas destroyed all zenit players.
zenit players are done for the season
blame vilas boas.
phisicaly he team is dead.....blame vilas boas.
villas boas is also a average coach and he showed that yesteday.
you guys are so pathetic.
no coach,no tactic and above no discipline.
Benfica will beat zenit....
i don't like zenit but this is so sad.
i don't hate zenit.
His hatred towards Zenit has grown due to AVB (A Portugese Manager, yes Portugese manager and Kleber is Portugese) in being appointed Zenit manager.

Despite AVB going the whole season unbeaten in Portugal winning every Trophy on offer including the Europa League, bear in mind Benfica haven't won one since the 1950's!!!!!!!

AVB winning 5 matches out 5 of against George Jesus Benfica (yep even Jesus can't help Benfica win against Zenit) he hates Zenit even more!

Why?

I don't know any of these players.

Moutinho, Berbatov, Carvallho, Traore and Oliampkos are the only Monaco players I know.

Lol, then why were you asking for their team news if you don't know their players?
I was hoping one of the 5 players I knew might be injured or suspended.

As it happens, Carvalho is suspended, that left me wanting to know if any of the 4 players I knew were injured lol.

Well for what it's worth Kurzawa and Kondogbia are first choice players for them.
How many fans are we taking?

I'm sure I read we had been given 1000 tickets.

Our away following in Europe is quite erratic, our last 3 Champions League matches we have taken around 3,000 fans to FC Porto, over 4,000 fans to AC Milan and over 4,000 fans to Austria Vienna. If we took 1000 that would be quite disappointing although in saying that, I can't recall the last time any European team took anything like 1000 fans to our stadium.

I guess getting a visa for the country In question is one factor.

I know when we played Manchester United in the Super Cup in 2008 in France we had really big numbers in Monaco. The English press were reporting we had around 10,000 fans in France and a lot of them were paying Manchester United fans silly money to sell their tickets.

Question for everyone on here.

Kleber - Fan of Russian Sport, he's not interested in French Football in the slightest.

Zenit = Russian - Monaco - French.

Zenit = 2 Portugese players - Neto and club captain Danny.

Zenit = Portugese manager - AVB

Zenit = 3 players who moved onto a bigger club from Klebers own team Benfica - Garay, Witsel and Garcia this of course has been backed up by the teams playing each other twice this season in the Champions League and Zenit running out easy winners in both games, not conceding a single goal either.

Hand on heart - Who do I think he wants to win tomorrow between Monaco and Zenit?

Without a shadow of doubt even with all of the above said. Monaco. Does anyone disagree?

When Bayern Munich play CSKA Morecambe who do I want to win?

CSKA Morecambe without a shadow of a doubt, if CSKA score I will beat my chest Tarzan style and if they concede a goal I will do a Sami Kufour from the Bayern Munich v Manchester United CL Final in 1999.
