According to Wikipedia, Arton Baleci is an Englishman who plays as a forward for Middlesbrough Futsal Club.

I don't want to click on the link cause I'm scared it might redirect me to Goatse, or Tubgirl, or even Rick Astley. :scared:

Read some of my former posts I am a serious poster.

The link is about a player Arton Baleci who is a non-professional player but has a dream of playing in the english premiership even though he is 23 and has no obvious footballing talents.

He is going to get his dream fulfilled by training for a full year with professional trainers from different sports. He has his own web page where you can read daily blogs and updates and see how his form improves. He has different sponsors and earns some money when people watch his site.

Today it was a story on him in norwegian national papers. I just thought we should support this guy. This is a dream that we probably all share.

Is he playing with any team?

I doubt training in solitude will bring him any closer to becoming a successful footballer. Even if physical fitness of course is an advantage.

I'll support his cause based on the sole basis of Le Tissier being involved in one of the videos. :proud:

I can barely understand a word of what this Arton guy is saying though... :groan:

I hope he enjoyed his visit to the tranny station... :err:

Seems pretty intresting. Some say that he'll use some sort of neuro-linguistic type of thing to his brain to be able to copy and learn the things he sees much faster and to start moving in a certain way. Science can do tremendous things if applied in the right way, this ****er mght even revolutionize/destroy sports...a succesfull project could make more people do the same thing and lead to a whole new way of practising football.

There are two perspectives to this - ok, so a young adult is trying to do change a trend here, and chase a dream, which is perfectly fine. He has a purpose, and he has a plan on how to do it, and is getting the support he needs.

Then again, is this going to encourage every Tom, Dick, and Harry to try earn an EPL spot? I wonder, if successful, and gets enough hype, might he start a trend?

It's interesting actually. I seriously hope he succeeds. :)
