being very unlucky in the last 2 seasons, can arsenal make a difference in europe this time? wenger wants the UCL now, and the team is very motivated after the double win, so it can easily happen. against valencia last season we didnt play all that well, some poor finishing at highbury could have given us a bigger lead and we would have gone through...and this season we had the tough luck of being put in the group of death...

It came down to bad luck the past year, and next year I think we will have a better team, but whos to say that we won't have bad luck three times in a row? Although I think because of the confidence we've gained this past season we will play better away, we are more likely to win it because we are now the champions of England, and it is rare that a domestic runner-up becomes the best in europe. If wenger makes some smart buys and the team becomes an even tighter unit and everyone gives their all then I wouldn't be surprised if we got to the Semis. Who knows, it may end up that we crash out in the first round, but I think we'll go farther than that

If we can get a good CB and RB I think we could go a long way in Europe next season!
I would also like to see DB making a few trips even it means he has to travel by car so that we have that extra creative genius on the park as i personally believe that he is our creative driving force!

Arsenal, like the other English teams seem to have trouble with teams with good passing, and flowing movement, whose team-mates have perfect understanding of each other that they can back-heel (no looking at the person) to a team-mate. You had trouble with Deportivo, Livepool and Manure had problems with Leverkusen.

Arsenal has the most flair among the 3 courtesy of the French and Dutch connection. Deportivo uses a playmaker, and Basturk fulfills that role for Leverkusen. Maybe you should try using one?
