Have any of you ever noticed that we never seem to go a season without playing one of Man United, Chelsea or Liverpool one after the other?

Well guys we learnt our lesson last season.

HAVE TO BEAT THE SMALLER TEAMS AND MAXIMISE OUR POINTS before the absolute car crash after another of big fixtures. Especially in the beginning of the season we have to absolutely race to the top and get a good goal difference, anything else fvcks us in April.

EDIT: Fvck we have Portsmouth and Middlesbrough before the United and Chelski matches. Neither of those grounds are easy to go to.

I think we get screwed because we're the best team in the EPL. :) Only fair to the rest.

end of season is fu cuked, we're probably going to lose game after game when we get phyiscally bashed against butchers at the end which will cost us another title.

the start of the season looks okay, i expect maximum points for the first 12 games or so (with exceptions blackburn away and maybe everton/newcastle). we have to take advantage of the home games we have, we've got a good record at home and i hope we keep it unbeaten.

The end of season really looks horrible, it's basically the same as the past one.

Allready now we can say that this is where it will all decide.

That is bullshit, why do Arsenal have to play United and Chelsea straight after each other. Why Arsenal?
How about United having to play Liverpool and Chelsea (BOTH AWAY) right after each other? Why United?

Its all random anyway so stop moaning.

Not bothered about facing Chelsea and United in two of the last three games of the season. Remember that we did the double over United in 06/07 but finished 21 points behind them. The moral of the story? We have to show no mercy to the smaller teams, as long as we keep gifting four points to the Birminghams of this World we're not going to win the league even if we hammer the big four home and away.

On something else - we have no big four match until Round 12. That's an advantage in itself as we can jump out to a big lead, certainly if you consider that in the first twelve rounds our rivals do face each other;

Chelsea; vs Man Utd R5, vs Liverpool R9
Man Utd; vs Liverpool R4, vs Chelsea R5
Liverpool; vs Man Utd R4, vs Chelsea R9

Note That Most Of Our Matches In The Champions League Are Followed By An Away Premier League Match

easy start, we should be on maximum points and about 5pts clear before we meet United, we could then open up 8pts on them with not too many problems, by January I think we may be 10pts clear.

I don't mind the order of the fixtures, but the only gripe I have with the Premier League is that they should ensure home advantage rotation. We went to Old Trafford towards the end of last season, next season it should have been United coming to the Grove at the business end. It's not right that we have to go to Old Trafford late in the season for two straight years.

We have a pretty easy schedule all the way up to the end of October. November and December are going to be a bit more difficult but hopefully we'll be through to the next stage of the CL and can rest players for Manure and Chelski.
