The only thing CM said was that you two still didn't give any signs of respect for the other team or its fans. And I think he's right. "Barcafans are a bunch of farmers", that's simply NOT DONE! dwMB and I tried to work something out here, and it pretty much worked. MxPx agreed with us, and like me he said this kind of postings won't be posted anymore. As a Barça-fan it's normal to think Barça is better, and as Real-fan it's normal to think Real is better. I said before at (I believe) the Spanish Soccer Board: when you have two exact the same players, but one plays for Barça and one plays for Madrid, I will say the man in Blaugrana is the better, and you will say the man in white is the better. That's normal, because we all are subjective in our judgements. And respect the fact that at this board Barça is the better team, and at the Madrid-board Real is. Ever thought of the possibility that MxPx' "cause it´s the truth" was a comment on the fact that that's what he thinks as a Barça-fan, and not on the issue "Barça is better"?

Labas, are you so insecure with yourself that you have to threaten to have someone banned because they have an opinion that is contradictory to yours. I have heard many of your posts for a long time and i have come to the conclusion that you know very little about football of life. Have you ever played high quality football at all? You seem to think you know everyting and that your opinion is always without flaw. Please cut people slack, not everyone feels the same way you do. AND BY THE WAY, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT CLASS IS? Class is not selling out your teams jersey to the highest bidder and simply having your teams shield across your chest out of respect for what it stands for, the people, the fans, this is true class. Titles aren't everything.

I've got it. It's pretty hard to explain but I'll try.

The champions of Switzerland, which would have played in the second round of qualifying, now play in the third round to compensate for the space La Liga's 4th placer vacated.

In the first round of qualifying, instead of just 18 teams, 20 teams will play with the addition of the champion's of Bosnia and Azerbaijan (These teams are the benificiaries of Zaragoza's demise). As a result of the addition, 10 teams instead of 9 will advance to the second round. That extra team will fill the void in the second round that the champions of Switzerland left.

I have no problem with Real fans giving Barca fans a hard time on their own fan forum - but I object to their insults here. As several people have pointed out, to support Barca is to dislike Real and visa versa -which is fine. There is however no need for disrespect. Whether people want to admit it or discuss it or not, the rivalry between the clubs is primarily due to the history of the clubs and yes, the civil war too. Let's not forget if it wasn't for Franco's influence, Di Stefano would have been a Barca player and who knows what effect that would have had on the number of European Cups for each team!

Real and Barca fan, reading your comments I think its time you dropped 'Barca' from your title, just like you dropped your support of Betis before.

Farmers and ********, you obviously know very little about the situation with Barca this year and how the fans became disilluisioned. Everyone who is a real Barca fan knows that Van Gaal and his gang of dutchmen had to come up with the goods(CL Title) to not feel the rath of fans. Van Gaal is charged with taking away the essence of Barca, los cules, the home players like De la Pena, Ferrer, etc. This hurt us who see the team as a representation of Catalan culture and pride. Therefore after we failed in the ultimate goal, there was a sever backlash against those who have changed the way things are here. So don't say such things about fans before you understand the situation. And may i remind you, when Madrid was in the relegation zone, fans were threatening players lives and breaking their property, so examine yourselves before you comment on another's team, please. You claim to be such wise people, please, please demonstrate this in your comments!!! Lets all think a little more before we throw out comments such as we have before. We are all guilty of this. I'm sure such comments are against most everyones character, and is a product of the rivalry between our two teams, which should be a healthy one not a bitter one. VISCA BARCA!!!

Your counter to my arguments were pretty crappy, so I stand by my opinion anyway I would like to end this rather pointless discussion, really unnecassarily brought up in the first place. I would still say Barca fans are "spoiled".
The atmosphere (OK, i have only been at one game) is nowhere close to the Serie A team. Take Roma or any other club in Seria A, they are a lot more passionate then Nou Camps boys.
Thats why i called them "spoiled". Support is more or less based on the succes of the club rather then the continious support of others.

Zoso, i have always said that Betis support was for one reason. Alfonso Perez.
