according to goal.com Aragones could return to manage Valencia, Mourinho looking very difficult to grab hold of, so the Spanish coach leaving Spain after euro 2008 already wants to start club football, where better than to start at Valencia.

valencia's board is genius.
a man who has been out of club football for so long and he would be the one to turn around the fortunes of valencia:ass:

As if any team that has been coached by Quique Flores and Ronald Koeman has the right to complain :dielaugh:

Not a big fan of him but he hasn't done bad at all with the Spanish National team. He plays attacking possession football which is always good.

Right now I'd prefer someone like Marcelino or Valverde but I won't be that dissapointed if he was hired, especially if he comes back with the 4-4-2 (the only reason I think he uses a 4-3-3 with Spain is that the NT is lacking in form pure wingers and is rich with inform quality CMs).

The only problem is what he will do with Joaquin as they don't exactly have a father and son relationship (more like great grandfather and son). Oh and Angulo and Albelda would definitely be back in the squad :D

it wouldnt be a postive move for us. We need to plan for the future, and hiring a coffen dodger isnt really the way to go about that

I don't know man. Have you noticed all our players perform much better under him than they did with Quique or are doing now with Ronald McDonald? Villa, Silva, Albelda, Angulo, Vicente, Marchena and Albiol always have good games under him.

Plus he knows the team very as he chooses most of the NT from Valencia. Which means he watches a lot of our games, so he should be familiar with the rest of the players who don't play for Spain either. So if he's hired, he'll need a lot less time to get things started.

Also he took us to second place the last time he was here in 97, just 4 points off Atletico who were crowned champions.

I'm not saying he should be first choice, but he's not a bad coach.

more like great grandfather and son
it will happen to silva and mata, as aragones is probably older than their grandparents

i think from playing style, he is quite good... not playing some negative football like quique o dumb tactic like koeman, but looking to his personality, he is a bit controversial grandpa

this one must be watched to decide wheter he will make it to valencia or not

Valverde, Laudrup or Marcelino for me. The first two would make as play better football with real style, whereas the latter really reminds me of certain Benitez. Isn´t Racing still in race for CL spot with second least goals conceded? That´s great work on his behalf considering the players he has to work with! And certainly no Aragones for me!

I am not sure about him.He seems stubborn and again if he brings his own style of play, the players will once again have to change to that.Plus if his lack of using wingers, outcasting of players...all seem too familiar to Koeman.

Right now the board must be patient and evaluate all the coaches and take the one that suits our playing style.
Right now i can't think of a better coach than Marcelino.
