Anyone here want to discuss Celtic or Ireland?

How will Ireland do in the World Cup next year and how will Celtic do in the Champions League?

If Australia make the WC(which looks likely now that Japan messed up against Iraq) and if he has a good WC, he'll move to a PL club.

There's too much money in England compared to Scotland. Celtic would be the biggest club in GB if they were in the PL but they're not.

Rogic is a level headed player. He scored a good goal V the Saudis for the Aussies a few weeks ago and barely celebrated.

What do you think?

Celtic need to hold on to these type of guys.

Australia play Japan in Japan in a few months....that'll be a good game to see if Rogic is a big game player

Because Rangers are bigger duh :p
Rangers are a smaller club than Celtic in all measures such as wealth, success, supporter base and current stature.

Celtic would be comparable to only Man Utd or perhaps Liverpool. Imagine putting one of those two in the Scottish League

I think Celtic are boring.

Also, signing up Johnny Hayes just to deprive Aberdeen of a star player is ****ing pointless. Way to make the boring top of the league even less interesting Celtic.

Technically he's amazing. I guess his background in futsal shines through. I am concerned about his proneness to injuries though.

Hey nice to see you cam :) Jackson Irvine doing well for Burton, happy for him? Rumors he might be off to another club.

So long as he gets sold for a lot of money & we get a large chunk of it.

Burton are sniffing at Liam Boyce now though the bastards :sob:

Celtic are not the problem with the Scottish League.

It is the low performance of ALL the other teams.

Celtic will have to sell some of their players for big money in England most likely and Hayes is probably a replacement.

Celtic need a big squad for the CL. Exposure to a higher standard might see the Scottish National Team also perform at a higher level.

Do you think Celtic can do the treble again this season?

Of course Celtic are the problem. How in the name of Jehovah are Hamilton Accies & St Johnstone meant to compete with a club who suck in gloryhunters & Plastic Paddies from Hamilton, Perth, Dundee, Aberdeen, Dumfries, & Inverness every bloody weekend? And as soon as one of the diddies looks like getting even vaguely close, Celtic come in & sign their star players because god forbid there's some competitiveness in Scottish football. Sometimes it works out like with The Thumb, & some times it's Nadir Çiftçi or Gary Mackay Stevens. At least youse have allowed Ryan Christie away on loan, & thank **** Celtic didn't get their mittens on Ryan Gauld.

The rest of the league is great. It was competitive last season from second to twelfth. It won't last like that because eventually, probably within the next 5 years, Rangers will get their shit together again and go back to being what the previous version of Rangers were.

The Premiership was a fun league to watch, but the lack of competitiveness at the top is balls, and pretending that it's the other teams faults that Celtic have vastly bigger support & also the benefit of Champions League cash every year despite usually humiliating themselves is a load of rot. Sooner the Old Firm **** off to live out their dream in the Conference the better.

Sorry Cam, I disagree big time with you on this.

The money Celtic bring in filters down to the other clubs if they buy their players.

Aberdeen had a great season and one player leaving should not damage them too much. Hibs are back too.

It will be tough for Celtic to be so dominant next season.

They don't get big money from the CL every year because they don't make it every year.

The Old Firm existed in the 1980s and the league was competitive.

It's not Celtic's fault

...Cos you said Celtic would be the biggest club if they were in the Prem...
They would be. You are not aware of their support they receive from many of the Scottish and Irish diaspora and their respective families

Yes but the Irish are glory hunters, so would probably stop following Celtic when they finish 12th every season
Like when they stopped supporting them when Rangers won 9 leagues in a row?

You don't understand Celtic (and Rangers) supporters. It is not like they choose a club. They are part of supporting the club before they know what football is.

Celtic would be big but they're not going to be as big as Man Utd. They could be as big as the likes of Liverpool if their marketing team was on the ball.
Seriously they would be on a par with Utd within 20 years.

Look where Messi says was the best atmosphere at any game.
