Which players will be available during the January transfer period for the teams still in Champions League to acquire? is there any team likely to pick up a few big signings?

thanks

Look in south america.
Joaquin must be an absulete target, he isn't cup tied, could be cheap (unless Chelsea involves) a great talent.

Others such as Robinho, Tevez, etc.

Sadly enough,Robinho looks like to be signed by Real Madrid. Not that I wanted to see him in only in my favourite team, but for god sake, anyone but Real Madrid.

I hope I'm wrong.Though its not official yet.

We've pretty much signed Robinho, who is the best young attacking talent in South America for me.

His signing is important, because the cycle of Zidane, Beckham and Figo will be finished within the next two years at the VERY most.

The Madrid Media is claiming that the Cycle is finished.
If SWP is not cup-tied, neither should Anelka be. That'd be one hell of a reinforcement... Then again, King and Defore are great as well.
Boijonov, Caracciolo,...

Absolutely no way with SWP. The board know not to sell him. He is the heart of the club now and his sale would incite a riot.

Anelka is unlikely to be sold cos he is our only consistent goalscorer. If we did sell him it'd have to be for at least 10m though.

There's only one club he'll play for other than City. :shades:.

And you can't afford him at the moment.

course we can, we've got bundles. :excited: I think £8m + Pennant would get him with you in your current plight. :shades:
Bollocks. I said you cannot afford him cos you've just paid £18m for Reyes, plus £2m for v. Persie and £2m for Almunia.

Pennant is not good enough to replace SWP anyway, although maybe we can take Ljungberg or Pires

Seriously, you won't get him. If SWP goes this season, there'll be no season ticket sales next, so it works better in the long run to keep him.

I don't think Hakan Yakin is cup-tied. If he's got over his injury problems, he could still be a great signing.
