Preview:

Cameroon are hoping for an impressive performance against Cup of Nations newcomers Zimbabwe to confirm their credentials to win Tunisia 2004.

Indomitable Lions right-back Perrier Doumbe will miss the Group C game due to a toe injury in his right foot.

Coach Winfried Schaefer will replace him with Falemi Ngassam unless the German decides to bring Pierre Njanka into the centre and push Lucien Mettomo out wide.

And Schaefer believes Cameroon must improve on their display in the 1-1 draw against Algeria if they are to win a third Nations Cup in a row.

"We are strong enough but we have to avoid the mistakes we made against Algeria," Schaefer said.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe are looking for a debut win in the competition following their 2-1 defeat against Egypt in their first Group C game.

"We're going all out for victory," promised coach Sunday Marimo.

The Zimbabwe manager has hinted that he may drop forward Agent Sawu for Adam Ndlovu.

If so, Adam will partner his brother up front and it is Peter Ndlovu whom the Zimbabweans will be relying upon to cause problems for the Cameroon rearguard.

Halftime: Cameroon 3 Zimbabwe 1

Entertaining 1st half. Indomitable Lions showed why they are the champions of Africa, came back from one goal down to score 3 and could have easily had more. Etoo's finishing is terrible, he should learn from Mboma ;)

FT: Cameroon 5 Zimbabwe 3

Thrilling match, very enjoyable to watch. Cameroon can score a lot goals but they can also concede a lot of goals. Their defence is a suspect. Eto'o must be very frustrated, he had his chances but it just seems that he can't put the ball in the back of the net.

I have to mention Joel Luphahla and Peter Ndlovu for their superb perfomances. Zimbabwe are out of the tournament but they should be proud of themselves, losing by 1 goal to Egypt and scoring 3 against the defending champions :)

Good match, Zimbabwe played well. If their defense was half decent, they could have done something.

This has been an excellent tournament so far. A lot of entertaining attacking football. A big relief after last months Gulf Cup :(

Great match to watch indeed, Mboma shows he's a natural born killer on the pitch and Mbami keeps on shining. Great second goal by him but the keeper was standing too far in front of his goal IMO. Best goal of the match goes to Nyandoro, another awesome strike and Zimbabwe can be proud in the end.

Eto'o indeed with the chances and seemed very eager to get that goal hitting the crossbar, there's still time though as Cameroon marches on. Egypt will be looking for the win next match so they better concentrate on their currently not so great defence.

But again a very entertaining match!
