...seriously, can you help me out with information please: To my great suspicion, the talk is that Asanovic comes to my local club. He seems a bit old and over to me. Could you give me current information on him ?

Yeah,Asanovic is probably going to Austria or Japan.

Well,he sucks. This season he rarely started for Panathinaikos (3 games or something) and even when he played he spent most of his time arguing with the refs or laying on the ground after a lame dive which noone believed. He is lazy at training and tends to have a certain "primadona" attitude which results fights with his teammates and coach and bad situations in the dressing rooms. As a player he is too slow and too lazy for a midfielder and apart from some good passes (rare!) and some good corners and free kicks he cant do anything else.He gets too many cards because he is very dirty (elbowing opponents or hitting them deliberatly) and whines all the time to the refs and his teammates.Despite all that he wants to stay at Panathinaikos but the club is not even considering offering him a new deal.

Sorry to dissapoint you....

The guy still has a vicious elbow on him, and that's it. Every one of his other real footballing skills is long gone. Last time I had a chance to watch him play was in those two Euro 2000 qualifying games against Yugoslavia. He put half of the Yugo NT out of action with his elbow.

Yeah Alexx if all else fails then he could just kill the opposition!

The guy with the deadly elbow...sounds like a James Bond villain!

Like I wrote in the other one, the elbow could meet Villa in Intertoto...

Amo, this is great, with you reporting right from the Asa center, I'm the one with the best knowledge on the case over here. Interesting feeling, as information is power... :)

One of the rich greek clubs should try to buy Vastic. He will have like two more great seasons and at the moment, he shows why they say he was more talented than Boban, when they both were young. Plus him going to Greece would have him out of my club's way...

Sturm Graz looks like losing Austrian championship to Tirol (Kurt Jara is Tirol's manager, he was a cool no 11 at Valencia in the 70s). Maybe your club will face Sturm Graz and Vastic in CL qualification. That would be interesting, I think :)

If the elbow meets Villa in the Intertoto then he could put me out of my misery and elbow Dion Dublin, Julian Joachim, Benito Carbone and Paul Merson into retirement!

Actually Pavlovic is pretty good.He is a forward which will score the slightest chance.Exelent finisher but able to create his chances as well. Not for a championship team though...but I guess good enough for Austria Viena :D.His team will probably relegate but its clearly not his fault since (a) he only arrived in Januaray from Sweden and (b) he has done the best he can.

However, the guy is simply fantastic, the BEST.A week ago his team was playing with PAOK here in Thessaloniki (we beat them 5-0,but he played good) and I've met him in a Cafe.I was sitting with a couple of friends and he came in and tried to ask for a coffee. The waiter didnt knew enligsh so I helped him with the translation and he sat with us.what can I say,he is very nice.He is kinda a "boehm" type with very long brown hair and beard and he knows the best jokes! very nice sence of humor. He said that he loves Greece and that Sweden sux big time and also some very "interesting" things about the Swedes and Scandinavians in general... :) he said he feels a Swede but its incedibly boring there and wants to stay in Greece...

Right, Natalya, I even was considering his local club as my force in Greece, but Amo has to show some respect for the fantastic masters of Austria Wien :) before I do that :)

Amo, in all seriousness now, what about the Dejan / Milan mystery. On a swede site I found a foto which obviously featured the Pavlovic we're talking about (long brown hair), but that Pavlovic was named Dejan. Who's Milan then ?

Oh ****! I always mix up those guys...the Pavlovic we are reffering to is the forward of Kavala. The long haired dude. His name is (probably) Dejan.Milan Pavlovic is a sweeper/defender/anchor playing for Ethnikos Asteras.Very good and reliable defender.

You want the forward of Kavala anyway and thats where all this info I gave you reffers too.Now if you want Milan Pavlovic, the sweeper,I'll have to write a new essay because he has a very funny story. :)

As we are looking for a sweeper as well, and the paper talked about MILAN P., please give me the essay. It will make austrian history ONCE AGAIN !
