Oopz! Butterfingerzz! Yea, he seems to have blossomed with age at a later stage of his carreer than most, and he looks solid on his worst days. I am now comfortable with him as the number 1. Fabianski looks good aswell.

Gigi Buffon cost £30m and Manny cost tuppence, come on, as if AW would spend even £5m on a goalie.

everytime I watch Boruc he makes a howler, like the Brazilian crybaby for me, makes some blinding saves but is error prone, I'd rather have a steady and unspectacular keeper like Manny.

Almunia has really grown on me, pretty happy with his performances and I know he's a good lad (is a mates next door neighbour). Must be the only Arsenal player living in St Albans and not Hampstead, which shows he's not a fancy dan.

some people on soccer pulse said they would take him if there was a spurs firesale. i dont know, but in his psv days (which is still quite recent) he was actually pretty good. Great to see spurs fail in europe =P. destined to lose against bolton now.

he is a top keeper. makes great saves and always seems to know what he's doing. we'd be pushing for a title if we signed him.

i agree with that. at first i thought almunia, the man who came on for us when jens got sent off in the cl final and conceded two goals at his near side. but he has certainly taken a step up and performed pretty well for us.
