Great to see Pedja make it ! Certainly deserved it..Although a team with the best record in the league to only have 2 all stars seems strange to me.. Ah well at least Peja Vu is in..;)

Mourning returning to All-Star Game

Miami's terrible year didn't deny Alonzo Mourning a spot on the East All-Stars. Mourning and seven newcomers highlighted the group of reserves selected for the Feb. 10 event in Philadelphia. Dallas sends Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash to join Don Nelson, who will also have Peja Stojakovic and Wally Szczerbiak at his disposal. Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Jermaine O'Neal, and Paul Pierce are the first-timers on Byron Scott's East squad.

Yeah baby.....groovy !!!!

Unfortunatly there is one person missing....Elton Brand. He is having another great season and has 31 double-doubles which is close to the league lead in not the league leader in that category.

But the bottom line, the all-star game serves no purpose in any sport. Especially hockey;)

Elton Brand snubed...

LA Clips Elton Brand because of not being flashy i think cost him a spot in the all-star game.:depress: how can he not make it a big reason why the Clip's are good this year and also did well for the Bulls last year.I also think Chicago is the dumbest team in the NBA to give up this guy he is solid game after game...

I am just happy that they recognized the talent of STEVE NASH:star: finally the canadian PG gets the chance instead of always settling for the 3point shootout.....

Steve Nash will represent folks!!!Oh Canada;)

There is a lot of people who got snubbed, but Brand is certainly one of the top ones although I really would have liked to see Marbury and Davis there :)

P.S. What in the world is Sczerbiak doing at an allstar game ?
