Ajax is one of the four clubs (Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, AC Milan) that will play the hole seizoen with a special CL star on there shirt. (this is a special logo not the logo that all the teams get that play in the CL league).
All teams that one the CL three times in a row or at least 5 times gets the star on the shirt. So only the realy great get the star and may be very proud of it.

Ajax have started training already by the way, theyv'e made only 2 signings this season so far, Tomas Galasek of Willem II and Andre Bergdolmo from Rosenborg. So it looks likely Regillio Vrede of Roda JC won't be coming anymore.
Iv'e also heard rumours of ABN-AMRO trying to put a deal together to bring Jonk and Bergkamp back to Ajax, but I think by now Adriaanse has almost got his ideal line-up in his head already, which doesn't feature the two former-ajacieds, it probably won't happen, Bergkamp ahs said countless of number of times that he wants to finish his career with Arsenal.

The complete centre of the defense (Verlaat&vHalst) of last year has been put aside, and no real substitutions have been signed. So that's why I wrote down this...
But Adriaanse already said he wanted to give youthplayers a chance, so don't be surprised if guys like Van der Vaart become regular starters...

Arveladze will probably be the diepe-spits for the first few months of the season. Who will be right-back?, Tobiasen is also not fit. Nieuwenburg?

Driver X> You're absolutely right. The line-up I wrote down was a line-up for when everybody is fit. Arveladze will probably play, and it's likely Nieuwenburg will also.

Isn't it just something Adidas wanted for it's "competition" with Nike? All of the four teams are sponsored by Adidas, and so is the UEFA...
