African players in Austria

Hello! My name is Oivind von Mehren - I am a norwegian student currently writing a book about african players in European football. I am desperately looking for someone who can help me finding information about the africans playing in the lower leagues in the Netherlands! With that I mean level 3, 4 or 5.

I also have some questions;

1) can anyone tell me the origin of talented IBAD MUHAMADU at MVV MAASTRICHT???

2) IMPORTANT! In the African U-20 Championship in Benin 2005 a played called ABDOULAYE OUZEROU played for Benin - he claims to play in the Netherlands - is this correct??? I haven't found any proof of it!!! Says he was formerly of Helmond Sport

3) Is there a moroccan called ILIASS ELKHAL at Venlo, ADIL EL AIBOUDI at DORDRECHT, MOUNIER EL AMARI at DEN HAAG and a MOAAD ELAAKEL at Zwolle?

4) Date of birth of talented BILAL EL YAACOUBI at Ajax?

5) where is MAMADOUBA GUEYE at VV TERNEUZEN from?

The information I need is their full name, nationality, date of birth and position on field - you can also send me an e-mail at [email protected] :)

I'm also interested in africans who has recently signed for any dutch club

Any information is very much appreciated!!! If you cannot help me - please send this e-mail to someone who might can! I will be eternal grateful!

Yours sincerly

3) I did a search for those players and none of them are currently at those clubs this season  ADIL EL AIBOUDI however did play a few games for Dordrecht last season.

5) had a look but other than seeing he played for Terneuzen, I couldn't find anything else. If I was to take a guess he comes from Guinea or Senegal judging by his name. Maybe you could email the club.

as for the recent signings, how far back do you want to go? I can give a list of Africans playing in the top division if you want.

From this winterstop, there was Gambian Norwegian Pa-Modou Kah (b. 30-7-1980)from AIK Solna to Roda JC who you probably know anyways :pp and Sierra Leonean Gibrl Sankoh (b. 15-5-1983) who moved from first division side Telstar Stormvogels to FC Groningen. Both are central defenders.

Hope it helps. :) Good luck!

Bilal El Yacoubi doesn't play for Ajax anymore but NAC Breda, but on their site they don't give any extra info about him. Probably cause he only plays for the second team.

http://www.vi.nl/vi/show/id=40053/dbid=40942/typeofpage=40054/sc=5e8619
DOB: 22-02-1982
Place of Birth: Amsterdam
Nationality: Dutch (don't know the origins, maybe Congo?)
Position: Attacker/Winger

2) IMPORTANT! In the African U-20 Championship in Benin 2005 a played called ABDOULAYE OUZEROU played for Benin - he claims to play in the Netherlands - is this correct??? I haven't found any proof of it!!! Says he was formerly of Helmond Sport

First of all, don't know the player at all and haven't ever seen him play (for Helmond), found on the internet is he's currently playing for a team called Buffles, probably from Benin.
What I found as well is this:
http://www.africafoot.com/coupes/can_juniors2005/zoom_ecureuils-juniors.html, read the lowest article, my French is very poor, but I think he was on trial at Helmond or something, read this:
Ask someone to translate, but I'm sure now he has been at least one season at Helmond, it a fair un remarquable saison... my conclusion: one season.

3) Is there a moroccan called ILIASS ELKHAL at Venlo, ADIL EL AIBOUDI at DORDRECHT, MOUNIER EL AMARI at DEN HAAG and a MOAAD ELAAKEL at Zwolle?

First of all those players are for sure not in the first team squads.
- Iliass ElKhal --> will ask Venlo fans at their forum, will report back later.
- Adil El Aiboudi --> http://www.vi.nl/vi/show/id=40053/dbid=46664/typeofpage=40054/sc=4c2bfd says he's played twice for FC Dordrecht in season '03/'04, cannot find where's he's playing now, but probably still at FC Dordrecht.
- Mounir El Amari --> I've got no clue
- Moaad Elaakel --> http://www.vi.nl/vi/show/id=40053/dbid=48387/typeofpage=40054/sc=945a42 played already 5 times for Zwolle this season. He's born at 01-08-1984 and he's a midfielder (source, www.fczwolle.nl). If I'm right he's coming from the youth academy from FC Utrecht...

4) Date of birth of talented BILAL EL YAACOUBI at Ajax?
No clue...

5) where is MAMADOUBA GUEYE at VV TERNEUZEN from?
Best option indeed to contact the club --> http://www.vvterneuzen.nl/contact/
But he's played in the UEFA Regions Cup for Holland, which I think means he's just Dutch. http://www.uefa.com/Competitions/RegionsCup/Teams/Team=86580/
I agree with Wally about his name, also I should say Guinea.
