I didnt want to come back to this topic cause this years African CL has been hell to my 2 teams. USM Alger were eliminated in the first round against a team from Niger. I figured that JSK would have no problem advancing far into the competition ... but today they lost 3-1 away to a team from Gabon, meaning they have to win 2-0 in the return leg. Its doable but its not a position they would want to be in.

PS. The Sudanese teams are becoming a force in African competition! Beating Zamalek 2-0 is quite the feat.

You root for both USMA and JSK ? :googly: Aren't they supposed to be fierce rivals?

I don't know about you guys but I'd NEVER root for Zamalek. Especially that they're our main rival not only domestically, but on the continental front as well. Them crashing out of the first round would be sweeeet.

Fierce rivals? Not really. USMA was never really a powerhouse in the Algerian league until the last 10 years, so historically there has not been a rivalry with JSK. If it does exist its a more recent one.

PS. I support USMA cause my moms family is all USMA fans. I support JSK being of Kabyle origin. I also support CRB since my dads side is from the heart of CRB territory ....

2-4 actually..

Hilal are good on the ball, I liked what I saw. Zamalek are an absolute shambles though.
