What you think guys?
BTW what happened to Remi Shaaban or Arsenal fame?

No GK [or we play El Hadji Diouf, a good diver]

Ralph Lauren Etame Mayer (Arsenal)--Kolo Toure (Arsenal)--Jaidi (Bolton)--Quinton Fortune (Man Utd)

Henri Camara (Southampton)--Geremi (Chelsea)--Papa Bouba Diop (Fulham)--Okocha (Bolton)

Kanoute (Spurs) --Drogba (Chelsea)

bench:
Mido (Spurs)
Yakubu (Portsmouth)
Lomana Tresor Lua Lua (Portsmouth)
El Hadji Diouf (Bolton)
Joseph-Desire Job (Boro)
Kanu (WBA)
Joseph Yobo (Everton)

hahahaha :D

Pretty good lineup..

Rami Shaaban started a couple of games for Arsenal (one against ManU) and did pretty well. Unfortunately, he had a very long term injury and meanwhile Arsenal bought a replacement. He's slowly getting back into the game now at Brighton.

GK

Lauren-Yobo-Toure-Babayaro

Diouf-Faye-Papa Bouba Diop-Okocha

----Drogba--Mido-----

Gone for 2 hardmen in the middle of midfield to cover for Jay Jay and Diouf

Unarnimo, Musampa's alright. No top player but a handy player for a midtable side like Manchester City. Has he ever played for Congo btw? I think hé has represented Holland as an u21 international but you know how the new rules are (like with Kanoute)

Naybet , Safri ( which was just awarded best player of the game against ManU ) , Talal Elkarkouri ..
I forgot about them. They're good yes, but not better than the others in the line-up imo.

Makelele is from former Zaire (DRC), Cissé has some connection with Côte d'Ivoire if I am correct.

don't say that, the African XI will start resembling a French NT side.
Well you could certainly make an aweaome African XI just out of the French NT capped players of the last few years that were actually born in Africa :star:

Boumsong: Cameroon
Desailly: Ghana
Kapo: Ivory Coast
Ba: Senegal
Makelele: Congo
Vieira: Senegal
Dhorasoo: Mauritius
Mavuba: Angola
Luyindula: Congo
Evra: Senegal

-----------------------??????

-------Desailly--------Makelele-----Boumsong

---Ba---------Vieira----------Mavuba-------Evra

---------------------Dhorasoo

-----------Luyindula------------Kapo

To say nothing of all the others like Zidane (Algeria), Cisse (Ivory Coast), Govou (Benin) etc who all have African origins as well but are born in France. I reckon it would beat the EPL African XI, but this team needs a goalkeeper too :)

Totally off-topic but imagine the attacking line of a West Indian XI consisting of the strike force of Thierry Henry, Sylvain Wiltord and David Trezeguet, also with Williams Gallas and Lillian Thuram holding down the fort in defence.

aka France :pp

The Carribean team would even have Lama :star: in goals (even though he must be over 40). But Trezeguet is born in Rouen and has Argentine origins though so not Carribean then :(

But every continent could more or less field a team made up of French NT players; even Oceania has Karembeu and Vahirua (U21 at least) :proud: :star:

What confederation does French Guiana play in? They're on the South American continent but they must play in CONCACAF.

Imagine the Suriname NT! :eekani:

The "French" Carribean XI. a bit top heavy with forwards and ancient in defense, but still there's no disputing the quality :star:

-------------------------Lama

----------Thuram--------Gallas----------Angloma

-Marlet----------Distin---------Sommeil-----------Henry

-----------Wiltord--------Saha------------Anelka

just needs a couple of proper midfielders though  :D
