Deportivo La Coruna president Augusto Caesar Lendoiro is in London this week for talks with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.

AS says amongst many scheduled meetings with Premiership bosses, Lendoiro will speak with Abramovich about his interest in investing in Depor.

Lendoiro revealed earlier this year that a major Russian player was ready to invest in Depor, which led to speculation that Abramovich and possibly media company MSI were the candidates.

His presence in London has sparked fresh claims that the Depor supremo is now in advanced discussions with Abramovich about investing in the Spanish Liga club.

maybe he's going to move all his South Americans over to get them used to playing in Europe.

maybe Abramovich will take over a club from each of the main european leagues in a sly bid to maximise his CL revenue :greed: . he can't openly have more than one from each country competing in domestic leagues, but in an interesting precedent UEFA have already shown that they couldn't really care less about him having an interest in rival CL teams, even if they have to play against each other.

so next season he would control CSKA Moscow, PSV Eindhovengrad, Chel$ki and Dynamo La Coruna. but the question remains where could the Roman empire extend to next  . well, all roads do lead to Rome and the clubs there do have money problems so we shouldn't be suprised to see Lokomotiv Lazio flashing the cash and dominating Serie A before too long. then there's also the planned rebuiding of Spartak Olympiakos for when the Siberian winters get too cold.

But the real jewel in the Abramovich crown would have to be Torpedo Rapid Vienna. as a tribute to his wealth, the oil tycoon would build this modest Austrian club into a European power house within the next few years. central to his plan is the placement of Jose Mourinho at the helm, in an environment where the Portuguese master tactician could truly be appreciated for his genius rather than sharing the limelight with his players :yuck:  .

Then with Mourinho satisfied that he has secured his position as the greatest figure in football history, Abramovich would really test his management skills by placing him in charge of his vast oil deposits. Mourinho would kick a$$ like usual, of course, and Abramovich would be richer than ever, purchasing Turkey and establishing his own nation on the Mediterranean, with Peter Kenyon running the show in his new capacity of prime minister  .

Finally with his own country, the magnate would then sell the TV rights of the Abramovich league (featuring all the clubs he owns) to the US government in exchange for a controlling interest in NASA. this way he could colonise Saturn with clones of himself and set up a satellite TV network to broadcast live images of Mourinho prasing himself to the cosmos in the hope that some distant civilisation will create a religion in his honour :eyepatch:.

don't write him off :pp. just to prove a point Abramovich could even put Mourinho in charge of Leyton Orient next year and win the CL a couple of seasons later without even reaching the Premier League, by way of winning the FA cup, then the UEFA cup and subsequentky rigging the CL draw so that his side only faces teams like CSKA Moscow, Dynamo La Coruna and Rotor Olympique Marseilletszk ;)
