Match of the week is definitely Melbourne-Adelaide. Going to the dome, hopefully it will have good attendance (there's the Dogs-Swans match next door at the MCG). We should really take advantage if Adelaide prepares for the Asian Champions League away to Japan. Unfortunately we will miss Lopez who was very instrumental against Newcastle since he couldn't return on time from CONCACAF qualifier duty.

Close victory with Muscat's initial penalty blocked by Galekovic (first time ever in the A-League, actually first time ever since joining Melbourne Victory) but he scored on the rebound. The dome was shocked when that happened but celebrates again after he scored the rebound.

Loved the way we still played the passing game after Ney Fabiano was sent off (I know he retaliated on Corntwaithe's previous action but if he really spits I can't defend that). Adelaide somehow was quite poor and Vidmar's substitution is way weird on a man advantage (70 mins and two separate substitutions at 90 mins). Adelaide'll get raped by Kashima if they played like against us.

With Sydney unable to win against Newcastle (in which Zura impressed) we're two points ahead on top of the League.
