There was only a maximum of 2 minutes stopage time.
This just helps show that there must be biasm to France.
And those elbows were sticking out again and Trezeguet did not even get booked for dangerous play against Toldo.

Other suspicious incidents from UEFA

It's not just at Euro 2000 where UEFA have looked to hit out at Portuguese football.

UEFA only gave us 2 UEFA Cup places this season....whichh in fairness, is deserved, but making Boavista qualify is rediculous.

UEFA referee Hugh Dallas added more than necessary stoppage time in Porto's Champions League game at Bayern Munich last season which lead to Linke's late winner.

UEFA have always looked to fine Portuguese teams in Europe. They fined Porto for using inappropriate methods to control English hooligans when Man Utd drew 0-0 at the Das Antas.

But then again...we were given Euro 2004.

They will most probably fine us for something stupid in our own home again.

how soon we forget

don't forget at Euro 96 the ref gave us a "magical 5 minutes" of stoppage time at Euro 96 to try to come back from 1-0 down. Sadly we were unable to do so. So there are times when we are looked upon favorably.
