E2k is upon us, the air thick with anticipation, the hoolies are polishing thier metal bars in preperation to go clubbing, and Mr Keegan is left with a dilemma. If England plays four at the back, does he play the current best two centre backs, or media darling Sol Campbell. While I have no doubt of Campbells potential, the fact is he has got increasingly stale at Tottenham, he's lost his sharpness, his edge. This was all too clear from the recent frendlies, Campbell played in everyone, and was the poorest of the pair or triumvirate in each and everyone. The simple fact is that not only are Keown and TA almost telepathically linked, not only are they highly experienced, individually or collectively they are simply the most inform players. If Keegan goes for sol, I hope things turn out well, however I very much doubt whether Romania, or Portugal will be as generous as Maltas forward line. So keggles make the right decision, don't listen to the press, they have there own agenda.
