Highly irritating giving up a 90th min goal and the lead at Napoli but the writing was on the wall. Two pieces of what's left of our spine - De Rossi and Manolas - got injured and had to be subbed. Mired in mediocrity and that needs to change soon or Pallotta the Pig won't be getting CL $$$ next season.
Manolas and Olsen, world class performance from them. Shame rest of the team didn't do that good. Though, a point away is not bad considering...

Oh we will not get any CL next season, that i can promise.

Yes to his credit, Olsen is showing growth from his time in Italy, learning and improving. From his words, he also seems to appreciate playing for Roma. With the long-term injury to Perotti, El Sha has been given a golden opportunity to impress. He's part quality but like many from his generation has this inconsistent, soft side that prevents him from class status. The coach has shown confidence in the player and has been only partially repaid. Sadly, Cutrone shows more promise.

Of course as soon as I partially diss El Shaa he has the match of his life, running like a madman, contributing everywhere and scoring a wonder goal. This match against Samp displayed some great youthful talent that we are lucky to own. Too bad our management will sell most of them before we have a chance to reap the rewards.

I guess the question becomes, what happens next when a world goes cold and soulless? Has there ever been a sudden recovery of soul, or does it always end bloody?

So Roma survived against Torino. But still are far away from being a stable team with a game plan. The defense and midfield covering is still too chaotic. The youngsters are showing potential and have some nice link up play in the final third, but we all know that's not enough for stable positive run.

Next up Atalanta away. We'll have a reality check in Bergamo :undecided:
