i am very glad to see Janku doing well and getting the highest one. He clearly had a very bad game v Bol and was dropped for that reason v Genoa. Of course its easier to have an attacking fullback good play v a team like Zurich than v. most Serie A teams where failing to cover your half could be a huge problem.

I agree with the ratings (based on the 40% of the game i saw on this bad streaming last night). Also very good to see the 6.5 for Sheva and Antonini.

Manu, I think you seriously OVERstating the missed goals chances and seriously UNDERstating the fact that teh striker found himself is such position, i.e. issues like placement, running, looking for the ball, activity. I doubt GDS is based only on a goal (which you somehow take for granted), which was btw the one winning goal. I think they look at over all performance (ass opposed to looking at only 3 key moments, missed or scored).

Just look at the 8+ min of highlights dab posted. Sheva was involved, on top of most attacks we did, very active, very pro-. The one he missed in the very beginning was 1st of a result of his very active game, his placement, his passing (with seedorf), etc. He took a good shot and just happened to be. what they call in England, "unlucky". He had a shot again in min 11, etc etc. He scored the goal. His grade is well deserved, although I can agree Dinho was probably a notch better (no more than 0.5 though).

and all that could mean then that you and I agree on all - that its good to have mixed ratings of performance and result. Certainly for a striker whose key goal is to score, the result will be more than 50% and for a DM probably less than 50%.
