Ex-RKC'er Elmas dolblij met Galatasaray

03/06/2008 12:15

Not yet on your official website I know but he's already been speaking to the Dutch media about it stating about how happy he is (and the fact that he's had 11 coaches in the last 2 or 3 seasons :howler: )

He's apparently signed a 3 year contract with you guys and Serder Kesçi, Ugur Erdogan and Ugur Akdemir will be moving to Rizespor in the other direction.

Real surprised to see a player RKC Waalwijk didn't really want make it up so high.
Is this a case of another Suat Usta or Baki Mercimek....a case of a player who once upon a time happened to play in Ajaxs (also in Elmas' case) or PSVs academy basically earning himself a move to a Turkish top club cos of that...or has he really proven himself to be good enough to make that step up and stay at that level?

He impressed for Rizespor in the 2006-2007 campaign, even earning a call up to the NT squad. I haven't really paid any attention to his development since then though

If I remember correctly, He had problems with Susic, so he went on loan to Ankaraspor. Didn't impress or play there. It's nice to see our board getting left footed players. We don't have any left footed dudes in midfield or attack. He is young and hungry for success. He has good potential and with right attitude and luck, he will be good.

He showed some nice footie at rize untill Susic came who didnt want him, Rize loaned him to Ankaraspor and a while later Susic became Ankaraspors trainer...

If he can get back the form he had a while ago he'll be very usefull, we can def. use a technical winger. Lets hope he wont end up like Suat Usta!

He also appears to be a passionate Galatasaray fan wich makes it even better!
