LOL. I've been waiting for this draw for years and years since our last meeting in 98/99. Every time we have a topic on who we want, I've said Man Utd. This year, I didn't say a thing (cuz I wasn't too sure) and BAM. We get them. :(

If we win, we'll finally get recognized as a force to be reckoned with regardless of what happens after that. Come on, Inter! :hopeful:

Who would be the worst? Barca?
I think many sees Barca as the best in the world now.

As for the Draw... Pool is good to avoid for me. Then Barca.. then ManUtd.

On Manutd. they are having Games Overload in CWC etc. Would that be an advantage is up to people to decide. Berbatov is surely one to watch out for.

YESS!!!! I got what i wanted :D I think i was the only one who voted Man Utd in the poll.

You guys do realise if we get through this tie, that we can finally say we have made an impression on the European stage? But then again people will still make up excuses as to why we would have won.

Oh yeah! This is sweet.

Finally Man U will get their comeuppance for the robbery in the days of yore. :groan:

Bam Bam will be pleased when we send them packing! :proud: :strong:

I'll take Villarreal in the quarterfinal. :lick:

Liverpool in the semi and Barca in the final. This will be great. :)

Very good draw for us because MU aren't winning any titles this year. I'm confident we will knock them out. It's also very good we avoided Liverpool.

Let's face it

We got very easy draws relatively speaking (we didn't get the worst team, but second or third worst) in past years (paper rankings) and we f'ed up each time

This time we can't go wrong with a big team

everyone says this every year

but this team's track record in the competition speaks for itself

I see very little chance of us winning this

That's basically what it comes down to. Although with Manu coming back from Japan plus a motivated Inter team you have to wonder...

After all these miserable years in Europe Inter is really due one like Spain in the Euro's.

NYON - Inter's round of sixteen opponents Manchester United are the reigning English and European champions.

In this season's Premier League they lie third, six points behind Liverpool with a game in hand. Sir Alex Ferguson's team have played 16 games, winning 9, drawing 5 (4 away from home) and losing 2 (both away from home).

In this season's Champions League group phase the Red Devils won 10 points to beat Villarreal into first place.

Their most emblematic player is 2008 Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo. So far this season the 23-year-old Portuguese has made 13 appearances (12 in starting line-up), scoring 8 goals. He has clocked up a total of 1,054 competitive minutes, been booked three times and sent off once.

Inter and Manchester United have met over two legs on one previous occasion. United won 2-0 at Old Trafford in the first leg of their 1998/99 Champions League quarter-final tie, courtesy of a Dwight Yorke brace. The return leg at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza finished 1-1, with Paul Scholes cancelling out Nicola Ventola's early goal.

The Nerazzurri beat United 3-2 during their pre-season tour of England on 1 August 2007, David Suazo scoring twice and Zlatan Ibrahimovic once in front of 73,738 spectators - a record crowd for a pre-season friendly at Old Trafford.
