Contra and Mutu are both uncertain for this match, both having fissures: Contra having his forearm hit in the dying minutes, Mutu being hit in the rib by Vidic in the 1st half.

Costea is suspended, while Goian will be back following a suspension.

Austria is a very tough side, especially on the physical level... great keepers, a very tough but shaky defence, alot of experienced players mixed with young blood but they lack creativity and technique... Arnautovic and Korkmaz are dangerous players... their best striker, Janko, is out for the game but they got some very physical guys and we shouldnt let them do corner kicks and such because they are powerful in the air

And to be honest don't know what to say about Codrea and Cocis because they are really weak. If we are going to play the same chaotic football like in Serbia matc not a good view.

Liked Contra, but don't agree with him to be one of our most dangerous(2nd half). Him and Rat made to many forward runs with Serbia and coinciding with Cocis and Codrea's wood foots that wasn't good and won't be good again.

Sapunaru,Nicu are 187,185cm so they will give us some height as well as more safety in defense. Goian is back so with him too will be more taller.

I would play it like this, with the idea I dunno if Nicu should be more offensive with Cocis in the midfield...but Cocis should have 0 defense request, we don't need more then one DM. I'm still convinced if Cocis can do anything, he should be in the offense.

Yay here we go again. Piti's old guard will never change. Why Sapunaru and Radu weren't playing against Serbia is beyond me (in Radu's case not even called up). They would of fit way better than Contra and Stoica did, oh and then we have Nicu who plays for the leaders in Germany and he doesn't sniff a minute.

I exepct us to win by a 1 goal margin, but it will probably be a tie the way our qualifying campaign is going. We haven't beaten anyone but Faroe islands since beating Holland in qualifying (Friendlies don't count).

Radu didn't play for weeks in Serie A, it's ok he wasn't called up...our problem was the midfield (once again, but some coaches can't realise such things after 100!! games) and our tactics...we had no gameplan, in offense and defense, and this should be the task of the coach to have one.

Mutu trained only 50 minutes due to the blow he received in the ribs, but will be O.K. for Wednesday.

That´s when coming to Romania was a problem for any team.
