No doubt.

Great season from them to juggle both comps.

Beat some old fart Bayern team who thought it was still 2013, Porto and lost 3-0 in a semi-final 1st leg lol ffs.

And played like some muppets in the final.

Good Lord.

The idiot is not even from Liverpool and has the lowest contribution of a captain to a team in EPL...

Los Che Forever I think everyone knew there would be a skanky winner this year due to how shit the field was this year, so it's no surprise really.

Top 5 shit CL winners:

1. Liverpool 2005
2. Porto 2004
3. Chelsea 2012
4. Milan 2007
5. Liverpool 2019

KHALID FT today:

This has been evident in the Champions League over the past decade. Eight of the past 10 titles have been won by either Spain’s FC Barcelona and Real Madrid or Germany’s Bayern Munich. The trio have been regularly among the world’s richest five clubs over that period, using this wealth to invest heavily in their teams.

English clubs are not paupers. Premier League sides share in multiyear broadcasting deals worth more than Ł9bn, higher than any other domestic league on the planet. This has ensured their revenues have kept pace with the biggest teams in Europe. Six English teams, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, are among the world’s top 10 highest earning clubs.

Still, by the standards of others, this year’s Champions League finalists are frugal. FC Barcelona spent €562m in player wages last season, according to KPMG Football Benchmark, a research division within the consultancy. This compares to just €297m spent by Liverpool and a measly €167m by Tottenham Hotspur.

Anyways, this game yesterday was full of mistakes, mindless fast-paced game, but it is not much worst or better than last year, which also had several mistakes that we do not expect to find in a supposed high level competition. But then, maybe the level of CL is just not that high as people dream while compared to other years.

When Sheva put the ball in the back of the net, I think Milan were trying to win the game.

JCamilo Sideways passes are easier to be completed.

Of course, both teams had better players, but that was far from a great display of football. You cannt make it somehow good just because of the style. (But then, Valencia-Bayern was worst, so perhaps a good CL final is something rare). Come to think off, you may have a final with Roque Jr as full back and now one with an egyptian scoring and a south korean as the best player of one of the teams (and the guy who hit more shots at the goal, if I am not mistaken).

Just watched the highlights, and yeah.

They just cancelled each other out, but the quality on show is another level to yesterday.

Passes are being completed for a start.

Quality is defo lower now, no question.

Once Zidane and Ronaldo left Real, everyone said it was such an open field this season with no true great team standing out and it turned out that way.

That was pathetic last night, I've never been so uninterested in a CL final before due to how bad it was.

The traditional CL giants need to improve, cos we don't want another final like that.

IMO the Bayern-Valencia, Bayern-Chelsea, and Inter-Bayern among the worse.
