Deano Belotti definitely needs to start for now. Best we have overall and for this team. 4 of 4 so far. Looking good.

roadrunner It was a competitive game, both teams could have won, but Italy were more clinical, despite the continued lack of a great striker.

ToniSamp Italy - Bosnia 2-1

I didn't watch the game. I had already watched the one of the under 20 Italian team and I was done for today!

Simboli i Diellit Great win ! The azzurri need to boost their confidence with the new coach . Who would’ve thought you’d fight the first two places against the Finns . Unexpected downfall from Bosnia and Greece...

roadrunner Yes. Greece suprised me by how woeful they were.

ToniSamp Greece - Italy 0-3 FT

A comfortable win on a mediocre opponent. Italy controlled the game and could have scored more.
June 8th, 2019 20:39
Anomander Rake When was the last time Italy scored three goals in one half against a team better than the likes of San Marino?
June 8th, 2019 20:35
ToniSamp 3-0
We are destroying Greece
June 8th, 2019 20:22
ToniSamp Insigne started instead of Bernardeschi. We are 2-0 After half a hour. Easy.
June 8th, 2019 17:27
ToniSamp Probable lineup for the game vs Greece tonight: Sirigu - Florenzi, Bonucci, Chiellini, Emerson - Verratti, Jorginho, Barella - Chiesa, Belotti, Bernardeschi.

Deano Has the squad been cut down yet for the match tomorrow? Normally by now we know the players that will definitely not be on the bench at least.

I like that Mancini is trying new things, but I dislike when you call 33 players for a two matches. He should be calling at most 25 players. No need for any more.

Reza The last WC to worry about pots is 2022. When 200 team qualify for World Cup everyone (except may be Canada or something) will be in pot 1, no worries.
April 2nd, 2019 22:19
roadrunner There is a rumour that the 2022 WC preiiminary draw - scheduled for July - will be delayed. That would give Mancini more games to try to get Italy into pot one.

camelface Good to try more midfielders for verratti's inevitable tournament injury
March 27th, 2019 11:54
Osman Azzurri is becoming a fun energetic side again with these infusion of youngsters, and Mancini being uncharacteristically positive and welcoming to all of them in his football.

Will be interesting to follow how his final squad looks like next summer.

camelface Well at least they won by more than 3...
March 26th, 2019 22:42
ToniSamp 6-0 FT
Sensi, Verratti, Quagliarella 2 (both penalties), then during the second half Kean and Pavoletti
March 26th, 2019 22:02
ToniSamp Anyway, at halftime we were 4-0 and 11v10 so hopefully we score a few more in the second half.
March 26th, 2019 21:54
ToniSamp When Steano Sensi (168 cm? Mmmm, he could be easily shorter) scores with a header the first goal of the game there is very little more we can add about the game and the opponent.
