HajdukSplit Joining Bilic's coaching staff at West Brom will be two Croatians and interestingly one of them is not Asanovic who has been Bilic's assistant at most of his jobs with the exception of Besiktas and West Ham

The first is Dean Racunica, former Hajduk player who worked with Bilic as a scout on the national team for Euro 2008 and Euro 2012. He has primarily been an assistant coach in his career with exception of coaching some third division teams from Dalmacija. He was most recently Asanovic's assistant at Melbourne Knights and Bilic's assistant at Al-Ittihad

The other coach is a bit unknown as he is only 34, Danilo Butorovic. It doesn't seem like he had a professional playing career but he is from Rijeka and started his coaching career in the Rijeka youth academy (he apparently was one of the highest ranked graduates from his HNS coaching class). He was managing Orijent Rijeka to start last season before joining Bilic at Il-Ittihad where he seems to have focused on analytics/data

HajdukSplit Ivan Juric returns to Serie A and he will manage newly promoted Hellas Verona

Zvonimir Boban has left his role at FIFA and will take over as the 'Chief Football Officer' at AC Milan

HajdukSplit They will definitely lose Rondon who is way too good for the Championship (he was on loan at Newcastle 2nd half of last season) as well as Gayle and Rodriguez.

Is it true that they are losing their best players this offseason?

Ivan Leko is the new manager of Al-Ain in UAE, in the last few years they have been managed by exclusively Croatians (Dalic, Mamic and Sopic)

Igor Tudor will remain manager of Udinese starting next season

Listen, I’m a Rijeka fan. Biscan has done a nice job, but winning a cup in one EE country and then winning the league in another EE country aren’t the biggest things in my book. I’m curious now, post Kek, to see if Rijeka can make a nice run in Europa League next year, maybe to the groups ideally. I think if he can prove himself vs. stronger Euro teams, that would prove something.

Adamtusim Just a heads up, Biscan has been a professional coach for a little under 3 years now. He won the 2.HNL with Rudes, won the Slovenian league and cup with Olimpija Ljubljana and now has won the Croatian cup with Rijeka. 4 trophies in his first 3 years as a coach....pretty shocking hes not getting more recognition...

HajdukSplit Leko is no longer the manager of Club Brugge

HajdukSplit Kovac could be managing his last games for Bayern (today is last league game but they have cup final) even if he wins both trophies. Apparently the same issues about him during the NT reign are surrounding him at Bayern (too defensive, too much focus on fitness).

Bilic is a candidate for the Celtic job

Big match for Tudor’s Udinese today which they are currently winning, if they win they are practically safe. He has done a good job there but eventually he will wear thin like his last stint

HajdukSplit Ante Covic is the new Hertha Berlin manager starting next season. While he is born in Germany and spent the majority of his career there he did play for the Croatia u21s in the mid 90s

HajdukSplit Zoran Zekic replaces Goran Sablic at Sheriff Tiraspol, this is his second stint at the club

Zoran Mamic was sacked a few days ago from his Saudi club after a heavy defeat in the cup, though they were still in contention to win the Saudi league, he only lasted 4 months there

Slaven Bilic appears to be a candidate for the Scotland national team job, though it seems to be more media/fans wishes than anything factual

HajdukSplit Decent start for Tudor at Udinese, 4 points from his first two games including a draw at San Siro against Milan, however it seems everybody around them is picking up points so they are still only two points above the relegation zone

HajdukSplit One which completely came from nowhere: Ante Mise is the new manager of the Turkmenistan national team, outside the top 100 in the FIFA rankings but participated in the recent Asian Cup

Picture shows Vrbanovic and their FA president at the HNS headquarters, guess the deal was brokered there
