The Green One West Bromwich have really ****ed up in the past 12 months. It started with terrible recruitment this summer. They failed to replace Lukaku adequately, Odemwingie, whose position was untenable was allowed to go, but they had no reason to let Long go. The signing of Anelka was a disaster, although did look like a shrewd one initially.

They then sacked Clarke during a bad run, which according to Baggies fans was justified, but they had no replacement lined up. Mel is a decent coach but was the wrong appointment, particularly due to his inability to speak English. Now they're after their 3rd manager in 8 months and the squad needs an overhaul.

They've gone from a decent, stable club who don't hit the panic button to probably one of next season's relegation favourites in a matter of months.

Wally Pepe Mel has left West Brom

Bernd Schuster will leave Malaga at the end of the season for a yet unnamed Bundesliga side (Eintracht Frankfurt is the rumour) and if the rumourmongers are to be believed, it's Pepe Mel to Malaga.

How does their escape compare to that of wigan under martinez, really job well done to poyet and the players

Ronaldwho? Fulham and Cardiff down.

One to go.

Shemyy yea Villa look done they are in threat of being relegated

Lambert has to go

HajdukSplit Fulham throw away a two goal lead with 15 minutes to play. Fulham had some problems though, they made all three subs fairly early and I think they had a couple of players struggling to finish the game but Hull's first goal came out of nothing but gave them confidence to get a point

Villa have really sunk in the past few months, even they are not safe when they looked like they would be when they beat Chelsea.

Big wins for Swansea and WBA. Swansea have 39 points and they should be safe. The likes of WBA, West Ham and Hull are likely safe but not mathematically yet

Ronaldwho? No I hope they go down and never come back up. It's been like having Homes on your Mafia team having them in the league this year. Total shower.

The Green One Sunderland had better ****ing stay up after taking four points off us, the bastards.

Azulgrana They've played well in the harder games throughout the campaign under Poyet, but they've been quite poor when it's come to facing the teams in the bottom half where they actually need to do more to break teams down and can't just defend for 90% of the game hoping for a lucky counter. Toothless in possession, silly conceded goals, ridiculous sendings-off, really the catalyst of their own downfall if they go down now.

Sunderland-Cardiff next week will be massive, loser of that one is all but gone imo.
April 19th, 2014 20:07
Shemyy They could've easily grabbed a late point at anfield too...they have played very well against the top three teams, but still find themselves in last place
April 19th, 2014 19:51
Deano The way Sunderland seem it looks like they will probably lose the 'easier' games against their relegation rivals but win at Old Trafford
April 19th, 2014 19:24
HajdukSplit credit to Sunderland, 4 points from two back-to-back away matches with Man City and Chelsea and their fixtures become much more manageable minus an away trip to Old Trafford

It's been a bad week for Norwich, all the teams below them picked up some points while they have a brutal schedule
April 19th, 2014 16:12
HajdukSplit why does Howard Webb have to make such a big scene on himself on both penalty calls today? It took him a good 5-10 seconds of him "concentrating" before making the call

Cardiff's penalty was 100% imo, Stoke's was questionable
April 16th, 2014 21:45
Shemyy Fvkn Mannone even after the ball hit him his reaction was seriously terrible, like he was thinking if he should decide to get the ball or not
April 16th, 2014 21:39
HajdukSplit Man City's title chances take a huge dent after a 2:2 draw at home to lowly Sunderland

Sunderland played well and Mannone conceded a very soft goal for the equalizer. Despite the point their situation is still desperate, 6 points from safety with a game in hand on the rest of the pack

Palace hit 40 points after their win against Everton, as much as I hate his tactics hats off to Pulis, incredible job
April 15th, 2014 01:19
HajdukSplit I said it before and I will stick to it, I said if Fulham beat Norwich that they would survive and Norwich would go down. Fulham have some manageable fixtures with the exception of Spurs away next week, their last three are home games against Hull and Palace and an away game at Stoke

Cardiff's fixtures aren't too bad either, they close with Chelsea at home which is tough but their next three: Stoke H, Sunderland A, Newcastle A...at this point in the season Newcastle pretty much have given up, they should be desperate enough to get three points there

The Green One No chance. Sacking Mackay was a disaster. Solskjaer has done absolutely jack but gets a free pass from the media. It's all Tan's fault though.

YBC Will Cardiff escape relegation?

Cüneyt Arkın I love watching Magath on MoTD interviews btw. He certainly has a unique grasp of English.
