I owe Martin a reply on some questions he has about art.

Sunny days that I wished would never end

Bookshops are a rarity in Hong Kong so when a former store owner dies, it is like the descence of a leaf into the abyss.

The last time I was in Hong Kong I did not forget to visit Ching Man Shue Ock and waved to the loban (owner) Law Chi Wah. I also purchased two books, one by Wong Bik Wan and the other by the late Simon Yau.

That was the last time I would ever see Law loban.
