this awsome move !

the other day when i was out and saw some people playing soccer and noticed this guy who does this pretty effective/nice move, it's kinda looks like the elastico, but different, he says its done by(all done using right foot), tap with heel then tap to the left with toe then run off.

have any of you guys seen a similar move done by pro players ? or can tell me how to do it ? and is it possible to proviide a video of it ?

YES. I love that move. I don't know when it got so big, but all of a sudden I've seen a lot of people attempting this move. I almost never see it done correctly though.

The key to this move is extremely quick turn and pivot. What you do is nudge the ball like you're going to pass it foward with your right heel. Then immediately turn the ball to your left with your toe. It's not really about your whole body, just turning on the ball quickly to turn it before the guy can kick you!

I've never seen a professional do it, but it's dead useful if you get it down. Just try it how you saw the guy doing it, but it's not really replicating it that will breed perfection. Just practice it in the way that works best for you. There are different ways to do most moves, just practise the method most effective for you.

oh man thanks alot gio !
btw u mean when i do it do i push FORWARD using the side of heal heel ? when take away to the left by tapping with toe ?
btw should the ball go straight when i hit it with heel or diaganel ?

(when using right foot to do this move)

also he does the same move and he controls it back using his same foot, he like does heel--then--toe thing and he makes the ball stay with him (not tapped/flicked to the left side) how does he do that ?

i can't ask him any more cos he gone from my school :depress:

i'm still trying to figure out how to pretend to pass the ball forward with my heel

You nudge it foward ever so slightly (like 8 inches) straightfoward, then turn it 70 to 90 degrees and sprint away.

I am still trying to understand what you mean by this above-explained move. But, if i am right, wasn't this done by Romario (Ex-Brasilian NTP) a lot? This move (if we are talking about same thing) is basically speedy ankle move..either right to left or a triple right-left-right or vice versa..you can do mini taps or if you are good one smooth single touch. Its about quick turns, basically. Much ez'er to pull this trick when standing but much harder when running with ball. My buddy practised this move like everyday two hours a day that he pulls them both ways now..and that Ronaldinho move in nike.com
