New Adidas Ball

Has anyone gotten a chance to play with the new Euro2004 ball from Adidas? The announcers were talking about it today during the matches, about how players said it was too light. You could see as a lot of shots went over and crosses went long. I haven't had a chance, could anyone describe it?

Pussies, a ball is a ball. A good workman never blames his tools. "Neeh, the ball is too light, it has too many bright colours waa waa waa!"

It isn't like the ball is only light for one team, the other team has a light ball aswell. The players who complain about pointless shit like this should either be given a skirt to wear in games or get sent to boot camp.

Wow that is pretty cool. Didn't know that much went into making a ball, or the process by which it was made....I need to get the Euro ball, see if it is as light as everyone says

Personally, I can't interpret

" “Roteiro”,Euro 2004 大会指定比赛用球是 adidas 花了四年时间研制,以葡萄牙探险家达伽玛的航海日志名 字命名的。Roterio的银蓝底色代表天空,深蓝色部分象 骱Q螅咴蚴呛胶<宜褂玫淖攴拧

To figure out how the ball was made. Maybe I'm just a little bit rusty on my Spanish?

I read that the ball has no stiches in the seams, making it slicker, and it seems that it's hard for players to control. Also, players don't train with that ball unless they're Adidas sponsored. Part of your sponsorship deal means they have to train with your footballs. So England trains with Umbro balls, Holland Nike, etc. etc.

Don't know about you but sometimes balls are lighter than others. The fevernovas I played with are much too light and bouncy, in fact i hate playing with them. They have a point, it is easy to mock them but they don't make things up.

I'd love to try the Total 90 Ball, it seems very nice. Especially the new Premiership one. Anyways, I finally got to play with the Euro ball. Didn't really like it, especially when crossing. They floated. A lot. Free kicks were okay, but the ball seems to baloon on long shots, crosses, and longer passes.

Yeah, because Adidas gives FIFA and UEFA A billion pounds of gold, silver, and precious gems for the rights to provide the official match ball. I suppose once Nike becomes more established they will probably stand a shot at sponsoring one of the two. The players seem to be getting more used to the ball of late, though, more goals, although it still seems to sail a lot.

i like the nike geo merlin series, a good set of balls there, no pun intended

other than that, the Adidas Champions League ball is the greatest.
