Backproblem
length: 6 months

it was serious problem. i got it from this game where it was a corner and i flew in and did a fly kick. great goal but afterwards i felt pain my my back. i played for the rest of that game, and about 2 or 3 games after that, then it got so bad i couldnt hardly walk even!!!

then after a long period of rest i am back, i hope it doesnt reoccur.

Recurring knee ligament injury. I have had two knee ops and was on crutches for over a month on both occasions and now it seems like I will need another op in the near future.

I know what you mean. I havent been playing any sport for quite a while now and coz of that I am also gaining weight. I really miss playing sports on a regular basis. Thanks.

how???
anyway, my friend's got a back problem coincedentally called William.and he got hi right side of his back more developed than his left,so when you give him a strong tackle or if he shoots he gets a terrible pain what can send himn to the ground!

As for my groin injury,it hurts now because in england it's very cold

i have a back injury right now. i have a stress fracture in one of my lower vertebraes. its horrible because it doesn't hurt if i don't play, but if i do, it hurts again. the doctor said it would take a few months to heal itself.

Stretches alot and do sit ups everyday to tone your abs
That will help keep you back straight and put less pressure on it

Your back will hurt when you first start doing the sit ups but after a few days the pain should go from yor lower back

I spent almost an entire year without playing, in physio, with a pubalgy (groin...) because I didn't want surgery so it took a long time. When doctors and myself decided I was ok to play again I damaged completely the cruciate anterior ligament of right knee (and partial of meniscal) in the right first match I returned to "action". Surgery and 6/7 months more.

From the sounds of things ... looks like I've been pretty fortunate.

I had back spasms that only lasted a couple weeks, but it kept me out of the U-16 Canadian Club Nationals against Nova Scotia, and our high school quarter-final which we ended up losing

I have a very nasty knee injury, probably something to do with my meniscus.
It happened a couple of months ago , I went for the ball and my leg just collapsed.

First I thought it wasn't a big deal but now I realise it always will stay a weak spot.

AS I've said before, dislocated knee which has happened twice and cost me round about 2 seasons of football. And it's going to happen again, it's just a question of when.

Kinda difficult to play with something like that. Everytime you go into a tackle it's in the back of your mind, but obviously I try not to think about it too much.

Wow, I've been very lucky then. I've stayed relatively free of those kinds of injuries. My worst would be either have my nose broken really badly by an elbow in a game (bastard) or fracturing my shin. While it didn't occur in a football match, I couldn't play for several months because I couldn't be kicked there at all, even with a shin pad. Either way, nothing compared to what you guys have had to endure...

Dislocation sucks. I dislocated my elbow on a bad fall (like Rui Costa) and hated football for a while. Excruciating pain.. and I still have this phobia.

Last year september, I tore everything that can be torn in my rightknee and also had a bonefracture to go with it. I got swept from behind bigtime by my opponent, and my knee got fractured twice in a few seconds, one where I got the attack from behind and the other after landing on that same knee on the hard ground. I got surgery 6 months later, february this year and right now I am still recovering and I still have my ups and downs, while it seemed to be heading to a quick recovery. Non the less, I have had to give up that what I love and was good at: playing this lovely game
