Injuries you have had?

How many/What injuries have people had here?

I am 16 and have suffered:

At the age of 14:
- Ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (i.e. ligaments in the knee, caused by Badminton, too much strain on my left knee -> 3 months out)
- Torn Cartilage (followed on from ligament damage, Badminton again -> a further 6 weeks out)

In the past month these injuries have kept me out of all U-17 action:
- Strained ligament (top of left leg, 3 days)
- Dead leg (left leg quads, 3 days)
- Pulled calf muscle (left calf, 5 days)
- Cramp (left calf, 1 day)
- Pulled calf muscle (left calf, 4 days)
- Cramp (left calf, 1 day)
- Pulled calf muscle (left calf, currently undertaking treatment, currently 2 days)

It isnt a typo, I am really having that much trouble with my left leg at the moment. I am warming up just as I always used to, and the muscle feels fine but it is usually something strange by which i pull it. For example, the most recently pulled calf was when I took a free kick, which was flicked on and I smashed it at full power (right footed), but I felt my left calf contract. I'm hoping the French physio can help me overcome this problem.

The only bone I have ever broken is my collarbone, at the age of 3 when I fell of my high chair! :rollani:

I have a fúcked knee. I've missed about 2/3 years of football because of it already, and I'm only 17.

Other than that, I can't remember the last injury which caused me to miss a game.

I'm 18 and have never been injured yet (thank god) other than maybe a couple of small 1 day injuries.

I had the same problem. 4 months without football and pain which often comes back again and again.

Oh sorry, I missed your question. It happened after a brutal foul, that player made a hard tackle straight to my ankle. I was playing football during the afternoon today and felt that pain again. Where will it stop?

Broken foot, strained tendon, snapped outer ligaments, sprained ankle--1 1/2 years. Never go to a public clinic in Oakland. The "doctor" told me my foot was just sprained and so I kept playing for the rest of the season. I could only play about 45 minutes at a time, after which my left foot would give out and leave me unable to walk for a few hours. After my basketball season, I went to a specialist who told me that my foot had been broken since the previous summer and that it had healed itself wrong and needed to be re-broken and healed. Because of that gimp foot, I forfeited my chance to play varsity soccer and JV basketball my freshman year.

Last year when I was playing for our schools B-Team (because it's fun playing for them ), I had managed to intercept a corner, dribble all the way up the pitch, there was one defender in the box, went past him, shot, keeper deflected, defender got the ball, I tackled, just as I was doing a spin, he swung through with his boot and smacked me right on the ankle. Put me out for the rest of the game, and after that one I had to go play for our As as keeper (and managed to put in my best performance of the season despite losing 3-2 to a penalty:fero: ). I had to play with that ankle for almost half a season, due to no other keepers available at the time.
I played in the last match of the season for the Bs as well, set up 7 goals (9-0 win ), but then went off at half time 'cause it was still buggered.
And in the previous year, I had some f*cker jump on my back with metal sprigs, that put me out for about 3-4 weeks (but once again had to play...).]
And I think thats it.p

ive dislocated the same knee 3 times in the last 15 months and ive fcuked up my ligaments in the process

1st time i was out for 5 months, the next for 4 and then for 2-3months......1st time i dislocated it in football, when a **** fcukin 2 footed me on the knee from behind. Then i was supposed to go to physiotherapy for 30 hours, but i didnt go, so the next 2 times were kinda my fault for not going to the physio. The 2nd time I dislocated it in kickboxing sparring against my brother and the last time i fell akwardly in basketball.
The 1st time was the worst, as my kneecap got stuck on the side of my leg for 2 hrs :fero:

That's exactly what happened to me. I've dislocated mine twice, but luckily the second time it went back in by itself straight away.

Hurts don't it.

like i said, the first time, my kneecap got stuck on the side for 2 hrs, the 2nd time after about 10 mins of laying on the ground, it went back to place and the third time, it moved out but went back to place immediately.....it hurts like ****, nothing physically has hurt me more than the 1st time when my kneecap moved on the side........and seeing my leg all fcuked up, with my kneecap on the side for 2hrs:fero:

Although I don't quite feel your pain, I broke my right foot for the second time in this lifetime yesterdayevening at training.
Out for 6 weeks minimum..

Anyway good luck in recovering Ignas!
