My favorite team is Beijing where Liu Ailing was captain until she joined up with WUSA. For me, BEIJING IS DA TEAM (c) Juan F

Beginning in April, I will also watch the Philadelphia Charge and the New York Power very very closely.

Hey Juan !! Thanks for stopping in and starting a topic (of more than ten word ?!?!) Can you tell me more about AIK's women team?

Yes, Trondheim's loss is certainly New York's gain.

I'm sure you will miss Aarones and Espeseth.

My favorite team would have been Real Madrid starring Mia Hamm and Sara Whalen (if President Florentino Perez buys their services), but Sr Perez has not decided to start a women's section
I follow the Long Island Roughriders and the New York Magic. The Roughriders have trouble getting out of the first round play-offs

Does anyone has info about Milan?

Info about Milan?

There was an earlier thread about Milan

There are also some Italian-language sites that track the current scores and standings in the Italian women's leagues. I can give you those links too if you are that keen.

I agree.

Mia Hamm and Sun Wen would look a lot more like women if they'd just dress up in short skirts and sweaters and be cheerleaders for their men's teams.

But no, they have to go out on the field and try to play football like men. It's so unfeminine!

Whatever were they thinking?

Like ... winning?

Personally I like Sun Wen's new do with red and purple streaks. Mia is too conservative I must admit but with Chastain around, the U.S. NT is never unfeminine. Right, giglio?

Jenifer, I don't know how you can mention Figo without saluting Nuno Gomes. Those two are the yang and yin of Portugal football,no?

Like it or not, women and men will continue to play this gentle game on grass and excel.

Forza Fortuna ┼lesund!!! This year they will win the first division and get promoted to the top division in Norway and next year they will devastate Trondheims/ěrn and Asker with their fast and attacking play
